Uncle Chris is Leaving?

Where is he going? Why is he leaving? Daddy's answer was that he's heading back to Hong Kong because he is needed in Hong Kong to stabilize the economy. Well, maybe he should stabilize US economy first!

I really don't want Uncle Chris to leave! I was totally expecting him to play football with me as soon as I can run and talk at the same time. What am I going to do now? Yeah, I know I can still play with my Daddy. But based on what I have heard, Daddy's footballing skill is incomparable to Uncle Chris'. (For those who wonder what I meant by 'incomparable'... Uncle Chris is better!) Therefore, I really don't want you to leave! After all, you are the Winner of the "Guess MY Due-Date Contest." Yeah, you were the one who knew that I will be late arriving into this world, when everyone thought that I was going to be early. Therefore, I felt like you are the only person who knows how I feel and what I think! (Below is picture of Mommy and Daddy presenting the Grand Prize to Uncle Chris for winning the contest.)

Just when I thought that I still get to spend a few more weekends with Uncle Chris, Daddy told me that Uncle Chris is actually leaving tomorrow! What? He's telling me this now? Did I not read Daddy's email or something? How come nobody told me about this sooner? I guess that is why we are heading to Grandma's place today, on a weekday!

As you can imagine, I spent quite some time with Uncle Chris during this visit to Riverside because I know I will miss him tremendously once he's left. As you can tell from the pictures below, I couldn't get myself together towards the end of the day and finally broke down and cry. It's okay. It's okay. I shall be fine, because I'm tough!

I have some more pictures and video below that highlights my weekend with Uncle Chris and Aunt Phoebe. But before we go there, Daddy shared with me this picture that he took when Aunt Phoebe was talking (more like negotiating) to Grandma. My Chinese is still a bit rusty, and therefore, I really don't know what is written there. Will someone be so kind to leave me a comment after this post to translate what is written there? (Oh, and if you cannot read it clearly, click on the picture itself for an enlarged view.)

Here comes the rest of the pictures:

A Full Day of Photo-shoot

Daddy got this nice Canon camera from Uncle Jae, and both Mom and Dad have been having quite some fun with it.  But of course, just because it's a nice camera, it doesn't mean that the object/person in the picture will automatically becomes good looking.  When you have the looks (like mine), no matter what camera you would use, the pictures will still come out stunning!  In the set of photos below, let's just say... the camera didn't have to work that hard to make me looks so... good!

The Clock is Working Just Fine! Stop Adjusting it!

I don't understand... why change the time? Maybe I don't want to understand. It's really late at night, and we just came back from Riverside. And now, Daddy told me that we have just lost 1 more hour! I thought they were just kidding earlier when they said they want to mess with the clock.

Anyway, here are some pictures that Daddy took today. I have to go to sleep now. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm 3.3333E-01 Years Old Today!

Or 1/3 Years Old!

Or 0.3333333333 Years Old!

Or 4 Months Old!

They are all the same! The bottom line is... I'm getting old! My poops are beginning to smell; my throat is beginning to make strange sounds; and my appetite is getting bigger and bigger!

You know what, I don't want to talk about it!

Let's see some pictures that Mommy and Daddy took today.

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 6

Today is our last day here at the Walt Disney World. Since our flight doesn't leave Orlando until later in the evening, it means that we had some time during the day to make a few more visits around the Resort here.

Our first stop was at the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Daddy made lunch reservation there, and you can see from the few pictures below that this hotel is nice!

Right after lunch, Mommy and Daddy took me to Disney's Animal Kingdom for a few photos. Yeah, we were there just to take a few photos... and this video too!

Right after Animal Kingdom, we headed straight to the airport. The video below is taken during my flight back home.

It's been a wonderful, fun, and exciting week! Thank you Mommy and Daddy for bringing to the Walt Disney World!

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 5

It's Day 5 of our visit here at the Walt Disney World, and our agenda for this evening is to walk around the Epcot Resort area to take some pictures before sunset.

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 4

After the rain from last night, the outside temperature has dropped 20+ degreeds from yesterday's high. It was very cold outside early this afternoon even when the sun was shining. Because of the low temperature, Mommy decided to keep in indoor for as much as possible. Therefore Mommy and I didn't really head outside until later this evening. Our destination for this evening is... Downtown Disney!

Once again, we met up with Uncle Jae for dinner at Downtown Disney, and this evening we ate at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant. After dinner, Mommy and Daddy walked around Downtown Disney for a bit, before heading back to our hotel room.

The video below is a virtual tour of our room at the Beach Club.

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 3

Today's weather hasn't been that good so Mommy and I have been staying in our room most of the time to take some photos of me, until Daddy gets back from work.

When Daddy returned from work, we headed out towords the Boardwalk resort area to meet Uncle Jae for the first time for dinner. But as we (Mommy and Daddy) were walking towards the restaurant, it began to rain heavily! I guess that's my first 'walking in the rain!' I met Uncle Jae and we had dinner together. It was still pouring outside after dinner, so Mommy an Daddy decided to hang out at the lobby of the Boardwalk Inn until the rain dies down. It did so after about 15 minutes, and we walked back to our hotel room in light rain. A rainy day 3 of Walt Disney World visit.

Here's a video of Uncle Jae holding me...

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 2

It's day 2 of my visit and Daddy left the hotel room early this morning to visit 'work.' Meanwhile, Mommy and I didn't really wake until early in the afternoon. Well, this is because I didn't sleep much last night. I think I'm still missing my own bed. I'm not used to sleeping in the stroller, you know!?

So as soon as I'm fed and dressed, Mommy took me out for a walk around the Epcot Resort area. There's a nice boardwalk area around the lake, and it is really beautiful!

After Mommy had lunch, we went back to the room to wait for Daddy to get off work. When Daddy came back, we immediately headed out again! Tonight, we are heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios! But to get there, we are going to take a boat ride first! Yes, it means that I got to take my first ever boat ride, and here's a video to share!

My First Boat Ride from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

We walked around the Studios a bit and snapped a few pictures. Afterwards, I decided to poop... so much so that I had it all over my body! It took Daddy quite a while to get me cleaned up and changed into some clean clothes. By then, it was already late in the evening, and we headed back to the hotel room after Mommy and Daddy grabbed dinner at the park.

Here are some pictures that highlight my day 2 at the Walt Disney World.

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 1

As mentioned in my previous posts, I knew Mommy and Daddy had something in their sleeves to bring me somewhere. I just didn't know when and where. So on Saturday morning, when I saw them packing suitcases of stuff, and removed the car seat from Mommy's BMW, I knew I wasn't just heading to Riverside to meet Grandma!

During the afternoon, I noticed that Mommy pretty much packed all the clothes that I have into the suitcase! Wow! She even threw in a stack of diapers! Yet, they still wouldn't tell me where they are taking me to. I was beginning to wonder if Mommy and Daddy had enough of me, and decided to give me away!? I guessed wrong because they also packed their own clothes too! Not just mine. Phew!

When night time falls, Daddy's cell phone finally rang, and there it was a black color car waiting outside of our house. Daddy took my car seat and put it inside that car, while the driver of that car started throwing our luggage into the trunk. The driver even took my stroller too!

After about a 20 minutes of driving, we arrived at this place called LAX, with plenty of people walking around with suitcases too! Then Mommy and Daddy took all the luggage and walked up to the counter to told that guy behind the counter to take all our luggage, and my car seat, and send them to this place called Orlando!

Orlando? Where's that? What's there? More importantly, if we are going to 'Orlando', why are we getting off that car at this strange place?

After this much thinking, I began to feel tired and felt asleep. And when I woke up again, it was when Mommy lifted me off the stroller, and took me inside this strange place with rolls and rolls of seats. I later learned that I was actually inside an airplane!

It turned out that I was taking this red-eye flight to Orlando, Florida, with Mommy and Daddy to visit Walt Disney World!

A few hours later, we arrived at Orlando!

Daddy then picked up the car rental and drove to our hotel at the Beach Club in Walt Disney World.

Since none of us had much sleep, all of us quickly grabbed some sleep as soon as we checked-in to our hotel room. We slept for a few hours, and when we woke up, it was already late in the afternoon. And it's time to have some fun!

Mommy and Daddy took me to this place called Epcot! There were so many people there! We took a few pictures from Epcot, and then Mommy and Daddy sat down for dinner. After their meal, Daddy held me in his arms to showed me my first ever fireworks show! It looks nice... but I have to say it seemed a bit over-rated to me. It looks just like the screensaver that Daddy has on his computer!

Anyway, I felt bored rather quickly, and I started to feel hungry anyway. So I decided to cry so that Mommy and Daddy got the message that it's time to head back to our room. This pretty much concludes our first day of the trip!

Here are a few pictures to share with you...

Here is a video of me watching the fireworks with Daddy. You can tell that it is really 'no big deal' to me!

Last but not least, here's a video of Daddy asking me if I am having much fun so far. I didn't say a thing because I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I really wanted to tell him that the fireworks were overated!

Me vs. Jason Bourne (Part II - Bourne Supremacy)

That face... that face looks so familiar! I must have seen him before... Yes! That's the CIA Agent that I once met, faught, car chased and succesfully escaped from! He's back! I can't let him see me... oops, I think it's too late. He's walking towards me now. Maybe if I hide behind this Ferrari, he would just walk right by. I guess not! He's starring right at me! I better run! But I slipped! Too late now! He threw a punch right at me! I replied with 2 quick punches, and then I smash his head through the Ferrari's Passenger side window. I turned around and ran across the street. He wanted to follow, but a car almost hit him! Too late for him... I escaped into subway station. I looked at myself through the reflection of a window. That's when I saw Jason Bourne standing right behind me! I tried to move, but I couldn't. I panicked. That's when I woke up screaming and crying for Mommy. Oh well, I scratched my face again!

The video below was taken yesterday when Mommy was showing me a video clip of myself, and how I said 'Yai Yai' for the first time.

Caught on Camera! 曳曳 and Pooping

Okay, Folks! Turn up the volume real loud because I'm sure you don't want to miss this!

From the video clip below, see if you can catch me saying 'Yai Yai 曳曳' and my butt making pooping sound! Oh, and if you want to watch this video in Full HD (High Definition), simply click on the 'Caught on Camera...' link located right underneath the video. I'm trying out this video hosting service called Vimeo, which allows me to post my video in HD. After all, Daddy spent all this money on that HD camcorder, shouldn't my videos be presented in HD too!?

Here are some pictures that Daddy took today.

Now, I continue to overheard some conversation between Mommy and Dadddy about some journey next week, and how much diapers they need to bring. I really think that they are taking me somewhere, and it's not Riverside! I said this before, and I want to say it again... I am not interested in going anywhere further than Riverside!

Am I Going Somewhere?

I think I have overheard a conversation between Mommy and Daddy that they are planning on taking me on a trip to somewhere. Although the conversation took place when I was half asleep, I was rather sure that I heard words like 'hassle', 'tired', 'exhausting', and 'long hours.' That's why I thought they must be talking about taking me on a trip. Otherwise, I can't think of any reason why they would use such vocabularies. Oh well, I'm sure they will come asking me for my opinion, and I'm just going to tell them that if it is anything longer than a drive to Grandma's house in Riverside, I'm out!

Can you take a guess on what I'm trying to tell Mommy and Daddy below? Leave me a comment if you want to take a guess.

Finally, below are just a few pictures that Mommy took yesterday. Do you like my outfit?

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is Valentine's Day! My first Valentine's Day! Since I couldn't decide who to go out with, I made the tough decision to stay home with Mommy and Daddy instead. Sorry, girls! Maybe next year!

Early this afternoon, I was home with Mommy just chilling and doing some tummy-time. Mommy took the camera and snap a few photos of me. As you can see from the pictures below that, lately, I have been having quite some fun sticking my hand(s) into my mouth. Although Daddy has been warning me that I need to stop, since I'm still pretending I don't understand a word he said, I can still ignore him... and maybe give him a smile sometimes.

Anyway, to all the girls out there who are waiting to go out on a date with me, rest assure that I will wash my hands first before holding yours!

Last but not lesat, I want to give a special Valentine's Day shout out to Chloe, Sophie, Julie, and Rachel. Happy Valentine's Day to you all! Don't think of me too much!

恭喜發財! Happy Chinese New Year!

恭喜發財! Happy Chinese New Year!

Yes, I know. I'm cute in that outfit! Yes, I know. I do look good in red.

So, this is my first Chinese New Year. I knew Daddy has been on the phone in the past few days talking to my Grandparents wishing them good health, money, good health, and money. I also overheard that people are wishing me to 'fast tall grow big.' Yeah, if you don't understand it in English, don't expect me to understand it in Chinese either! Why do they want me to grow up so fast? I'm just happy at where I am. I get to cry whenever I want; I get to stick my entire fist inside my mouth whenever I want... even when Daddy threatens to put tobassco on my fingers. (Yeah, try me, Daddy! I'm so scare that my legs are shaking! If you do that to me, I'll tell Grandma!)

Technically speaking, the New Year was on Thursday. But since Daddy had to work on Thursday and Friday, we didn't visit my Grandparents until over the weekend.

First stop, Riverside! We arrived there at approximately 5pm on Saturday afternoon, and as always, everyone wants to hold me. I was so busy that day, I hardly had time to cry at all! For the record, the first 利是 that I received for the New Year was from Aunt Juanita (see picture!) Once that started, all the 利是 just kept on coming! I even received a special one from Grandma! Because when Grandma was handing out 利是 to everyone, there were any writings on the 利是, but mine got some special messages. Anyway, it was a very fun evening, and we didn't get home almost 1am!

Second stop, Arcadia! We arrived there at approximately 6pm on Sunday afternoon, just in time for dinner... for the grown ups! I also received a ton of 利是 from Grandma and Grandpa! As you can see from the pictures, Grandpa was especially happy when I was in his arms. The picture below give you an idea of how many 利是 I have received! On last count, according to Daddy, the total amount of 利是 collected comes out to be $26.92! But Daddy said it's still isn't enough for me to buy some toys. I guess I just have to save up for a few more years.

And all these activities made me really tired as you can see from the picture below. And we didn't get home until almost 11pm.

Overall, it was a very fun and eventful weekend! Not to mention that I got to receive so many 利是. I hope you all like the pictures! Once again, Happy Chinese New Year!

I'm 3 Months Old Today!

Can you believe that? I'm exactly a quarter of a year old today! 3 Months ago, I was still hiding inside my Mommy's tummy, nice and warm. Today, I'm 3 months old! To celebrate, I thought I share you some pictures that Mommy took today, in my birthday suit!

Grandma and Grandpa also visited me today. I was hoping that they would bring me some birthday gifts, but it turned out that they were here just to drop off some stuff for Daddy. However, when they arrived, Daddy was on a conference with his office negotiating some big money deals. As soon as Daddy let Grandma and Grandpa into the house, Daddy handed me over to them, and continued with his call.

While I was having so much fun with Grandma, I pooped! No big deal! I do that all the time! But since Grandma thought that Daddy is too busy to change my diaper (he was still on the conference call), Grandma decided to change my diaper... herself... for the first time... on me! (Mommy was not home at that time. I don't know where did she go.) The Diaper-change went on smoothly, I thought. But when Grandma handed me back to Daddy right before she left, I knew something was wrong. Grandma told Daddy that... "Check his clothes. His poop went all the way to the edge of the diaper, and I'm worried that his clothes might be dirty."

Then Daddy said: "Why didn't you check his clothes too during diaper change?"

Grandma said: "I tried, but I couldn't see much because he was lying on top of his own clothes during diaper change."

Daddy said: "Okay! I'll check later."

Well, Daddy didn't check me right away because he was still too busy with his work. Mommy came home, and thank God there's Mommy in this world... this is what Mommy found...

Can you believe that? It went through 2 layers of clothing! No wonder I was feeling a bit sticky on my back!

Last but not least, my Virtual City is building up nicely! I'm now allowed to build some 'Industry' because I have 2% unemployment rate in my City. To build some places for employment, please click here. Ultimately, this is how I want my city to looks like.

Stay tune for more pictures from my first Chinese New Year!

My First 團年飯 (Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner)

Since 年三十晚 (Chinese New Year's Eve) is on a weekday, the family has decided to have our 團年飯 a few days early, on the weekend. The location for my first 團年飯 is at Grandma's house. It means that I had a long road trip to Riverside again. As you can see from the first few pictures, I fell asleep in the car almost immediately.

Not only it was my first 團年飯, it was also my first Super Bowl Sunday. The New England Patriots are playing the New York Giants, with the Patriots heavily favorited. That's why you can see in the pictures that I was also wearing Tom Brady's jersey, courtesy of Aunt Peggy!

Dinner started early with plenty of food! Once again, I was left out of the food. I still don't understand why they won't let me eat. I have a mouth, just like theirs!

After dinner, Grandpa spent most of the remaining evening holding me. Occasionally, Uncle Chris got his hands/arms onto me. As you can see from the video below, Uncle Chris didn't seem to know that I like people holding me, AND walking at the same time!

Our evening ended with another long drive home. But it was certainly a fun evening since I get to visit Grandma and Grandpa!

Chinese Kung Fu!

Yesterday, Aunt Annie and Uncle Joseph invited us out to dinner. Aunt Annie's parents were also there, along with my Grandma and Grandpa. The location is a Japanese restaurant. THEY were having all kinds of sushi, rolls, and sashimi! Once again, I was just THERE, sitting in my stroller. I don't even get to taste a sip of the green tea! If these dinner events continued to be so unfair and boring, I think I will stop attending these events very soon! The picture above was taken shortly after dinner last night. Aunt Annie was holding me. Oh, by the way, I hope you like my shoes! Aren't they cute?

So after we got home last night, and right before diaper changing, Daddy was having a chat with me. He asked me if I'm interested in martial arts. Well, what do you think, Dad? I'm born in America, but my blood is very much Chinese! Therefore, how can a Chinese not have any interest in martial arts? Duh!

All of a sudden, Daddy started teaching me some basic moves in martial arts. Mom happened to video taped part of it, and here it is:

Last but not least, here are some pictures that Mommy took a few days ago, in my Pooh outfit. I know, you don't have to tell me! Yup, I'm totally cute! Totally one of a kind! Totally awsome!

This Little Piggy Shortage?

For a moment, I thought my (previous) web-site was mentioned in Newsweek!

But after reading this Newsweek article, I'm more concerned about that so-called 'Pigjackers!' I guess Daddy wasn't BS-ing me when he told me that if I don't stop crying, he's going to give me away!

And yes, I do read Newsweek, okay!

A Conversation with Daddy!

Yeah, my conversation with Daddy was recorded for training purposes. The video clip seems long, but it is actually a combination of a few short videos edited together. I think it is worth the few minutes of your time, just to hear me responding back to my Dad!

To my French and Japanese speaking fans, that is Cantonese that Daddy was speaking. Just to summarize the translation, Daddy basically kept telling me that I'm such a good boy, and that I should put my hands in my mouth more often. Not much!

On a different note, thanks to those who kept on visiting my Virtual City of Addison. You can actually see that my town is growing! Thank You! But don't let it stop! Keep on clicking once a day! Very soon, I can start building a transportation system, & etc.

Want to Know Why I'm Not Sleeping at Night?

I know Daddy has been telling everybody and their grandmother that I'm not sleeping at night. You have probably heard from him that I stay up all night long, blah blah blah! Well, take a look at this video below, and tell me if you can fall asleep under this kind of environement! I mean... Hello?... someone is trying to fall asleep in this same room too!!

So from now on, I don't want to hear you people gossiping about how I am not sleeping at night! When I cry at night, it's not always because of starvation or dirty diapers! Maybe I am just irritated by some unpleasant... 'sleeping sound!'

Beverly Hills... Here I come!

Daddy took me to Beverly Hills for lunch today! We were there because Daddy has a High-school classmate visiting from New York, with his girlfriend! They happen to be staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, and therefore, we get to visit that part of the town for lunch!

Since I didn't sleep much last night, I was a bit tired as soon as I got into the car. I pretty much slept through the whole way. I don't even recall actually meeting Mr. Wong, Daddy's buddy. Although I am confident that Mr. Wong's girlfriend was checking me out throughout the luncheon. So, my first visit to Beverly Hills was rather uneventful. Daddy didn't bring me to shopping (that would have waken me up!) And we went straight back to home after lunch. Although I have heard that the lunch lasted for quite some time because Daddy was spending plenty of time catching up with his buddy, Howard (that's his name, by the way.)

So on our way home, Mommy took these pictures. The purpose of these pictures are to highlight how long my eyelaches are! Everybody kept saying they are long, they are long, but how would I really know how long they are? You make the call and tell me!

Then later this evening, Mommy took some pictures of me when Daddy was trying to burp me after feeding. Little did he know, at that same time, I was also trying to multi-tasking. In addition to burping, I was also attempting to boop at the same time. Yeah, I guess you can say that I am a highly efficient person. I like to perform multiple tasks at the same time. Like 'cry & pee', 'eat & poop', 'poop & burp', 'sleep and pee'. As I grow older, I am certain that I can fine-tune my unique multi-tasking techniques to make myself a better person!

Last but not least, here are a few more photos of myself taken a few days earlier at home.

My 2-Month Check-up!

I had my 2-month check-up today! Everything went well, except that I had 4 injection-shots! Four!! 4!! 四!! IV!! Cuatro!! I can't believe it! Luckily I was strong, and brave! As you can see from the video below. Yes, I did cry... a bit... only because if I didn't cry, I was worried that that nurse might suspect me of having some kind of neuro-related-issues that cause me not to feel any pain. Besides, both Mommy and Daddy were there and I wanted to pretend that I did feel pain... so that they think I would be scare of them when they threaten to spank me in the future, of course, for unjust reasons!

Anyway, the check-up went fine! I weighted in at 12.8 pounds! The Doctor said I'm healthy! Everything is good and wonderful! My next visit is not until I turn 4 months old!

Peace out!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today is a very special day because today is Mommy's birthday! It is an extra special birthday for Mommy because this is the first birthday that Mommy spends with me!

To make sure the day starts off with a positive note, I decided to behave myself, and slept through the night (6 hours long) without waking Mommy up. Considered this as my birthday gift to Mom!

Grandma also stopped by our place in the morning to wish Mommy a Happy Birthday... after dropping Grandpa off at the airport. We invited Grandma to join us for brunch at the Jer-Ne Restaurant inside Ritz Carlton Marina Del Rey, to celebrate Mommy's big day!

Below is a video of our table at the restaurant. You can see the nice view that we had of the Marina. And you can also see me totally chilling in my stroller, hoping that I'll get to participate at the buffet table.

And when I learned that I don't get to enjoy the food being served, I was left with no options but to enjoy the environment. Come on, the weather was good, the temperature was warm, there was music playing, and most importantly, it's my Mommy's Birthday! Here I have another video of myself dancing to the music playing at the restaurant. Can't you tell I was having a blast?

We didn't leave the restaurant until it was way past 3 pm! Both Mommy and Daddy were telling each other, and myself, how much they ate, and how full they were. Once again, this is really not fair that I don't get to taste any of the food... especially that dessert station!

Anyway, by the time we arrived home, Uncle Chris and Aunt Phoebe were already there waiting for us. Uncle Chris bought a new computer and he wanted Daddy to install some programs onto his new PC. A feeding and a nap later, it was time to cut the birthday cake!

Below are some pictures that we took today. There are also pictures of different dishes from the buffet table. And of course, pictures with Mommy and Daddy!

Finally, after such an eventful day, it was time for me to take a bath! Long time fans of this web site should remember that this is not the first time that my bathing video appears on this site. In fact, my first bathing was posted right here. If you have the time, compare these 2 videos and see how much weight I've gained! I can't believe my eyes either!

And some more pictures here...

Once again, Happy Birthday Mommy!

I Know Daddy Likes Cars!

That fact that I see car magazines lying everywhere in the house tells me that Daddy really likes cars!  But after reading this news article, I'm just thankful that Daddy didn't pull similar stunt on me.  Or did Mommy just stopped him?  Well, who knows!?  Had my Last Name begins with a 'W', who knows what my First and Second initials would be?

I'm 2 Months Old Now!

Yesterday marked my 2-month birthday! Although Mommy and Daddy didn't plan anything special for me, I did get some gifts from 2 ladies that I have never met before. Judy and Wing are Mommy's long time friend. They go all the way back to college years when they met, according to Mommy. Like I said, they brought me plenty of gifts. I didn't know they knew it was my 2-month birthday! I have to say I was impressed!

There are 2 albums below. The first album has some pictures that I took with Judy and Wing. The second album has more pictures that Mommy and Daddy took of me on my 2-month birthday. What do you think? Do I look old in those pictures? Do I look fat?

More Visitors and More Gifts

Today, we had 2 Guests visiting Mommy and I. (Daddy has been at work all day!) Aunt Judy and Uncle Alan are Grandma's long time friend. I've heard that Uncle Alan and Grandma used to be classmates back when they were in school. As always, whenever I have visitors, I am always at my best behavior. Uncle Alan also bought me a very nice gift! And when Daddy put it on me just now, it looked really nice! Thank You

Have I been Travelling to Different Time Zones Lately?

The reason why I am asking, is because I seem to have problem falling asleep in the middle of the night. The past week, I have been awake all night, and won't fall asleep until it's almost 4am. Luckily, Mommy was there to keep me company all night long. Daddy was not as nice... he only woke up momentarily when I cried really loud. Then he would go straight back to sleep. He just wasn't into spending some quality time with me when it is late at night. Although I have to say that he's been very attentive during the morning hours, right before he visit that place called 'work.'

So to help me switch back to Pacific Standard Time, Mommy and Daddy's approach was to keep me awake from 5-6pm onward. Hoping that by the time they go to bed, I will be drop-dead tired. But only if things were that easy! You know, they just don't understand that when I want to sleep, I will just sleep regardless of what position I'm posing at that moment.

Anyway, this past week has been tough on my parents, especially Mommy. I hope my sleep pattern goes back to 'normal' soon. Otherwise, Mommy and Daddy are not going to be very happy!

The video below is just an example of how Daddy was trying to keep me awake.

Gift from Grandma

I want to dedicate these 2 videos below to my Grandma. She bought me a totally cool gift for Christmas. I don't really know how to describe it to you... just watch the video and you'll know what is it that I like so much. It makes sound/music, and it has flashing lights. That's exactly what I needed sometime, after hours of dealing with my parents. Thanks, Grandma!

Here's another video to show Grandma how much I appreciate the gift she bought me!

Gift from Aunt Juanita

What a cool Christmas Gift from Aunt Juanita! You can see from this video that I enjoy it for the most part. Although the video did show some signs of my frustrations here and there. That's only because Mommy and Daddy have been tryign to keep me awake during the evening hours.

My First New Year's Eve (Party)!

You people... how come none of you warned me that a New Year's Eve party means that I have to stay up waaaayyyy past my bed-time!? A simple "FYI" would have been enough so that I can gather a few more naps before the year ends! Gosh! I thought I can count on you guys to look after my well being! Oh, also, I thought Daddy drove all the way back to that place called Hong Kong yesterday, just to get to my Grandma's house. Did you guys know that she lives so far away? If so, why didn't any of you shoot me an email to, again, "FYI" me?

Anyway, as you can tell by now, yesterday was my first visit to my Grandma's house in this place called Riverside. Don't even ask... I didn't see any "River" there! After a 70-minutes drive, we arrived at Grandma's house. I swear that when we left our house, it was still bright outside, but it was all dark by the time we arrived at Grandma's.

According to Daddy, Grandma started the thermostat way early in the afternoon just to warm up the house for my arrival. Apparently, Grandma doesn't usually turn on the heater because it gives her dried-skin. But because of my visit, Grandma was worried that the house may be too cool for my liking. So as I step foot into her house, I was greeted by a warm and chearful crowd!

As you can see from the pictures below, in addition to the family members, Grandma's neighbor, Emily and Mike (and their daughter), also stopped by to meet me! In addition, long time family friend, Wendy, was also there. As usual, there were always 4 family members busy playing Mahjong for the most part of the evening. As for me, Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris pretty much held me all night long. Grandma also spent a fair share of time holding me. I didn't really sleep much during the evening because there were just too much activities going on. Although I did manage for about an hour of sleep later, in Daddy's room.

Then out of nowhere, the television started talking numbers. Something like Five, Seven, Three, Four, Nine, One... Happy New Year! I saw everybody hugging each other, and saying "Happy New Year" to each other. Almost everyone came over to give me a kiss! And of course... plenty of pictures were taken. I saw Daddy pouring some what he said is bubbly-grape-juice, and everyone started drinking. As usual, I was left out of all drinks and food as always! I really wonder when will that change? Hopefully in 2008!

We didn't leave Grandma's house until after 1am. By the time we got home, it was almost 3am. By then, I was feeling a bit hungry and didn't feel like sleeping. But you should look at Mommy and Daddy's face! They were not too happy with me not feeling sleepy! The rest of the night/morning, let's just say... I'm glad Mommy thinks that I'm cute!

It was a really fun evening! My visit to Grandma's house was exciting! Her house is so big that I couldn't wait to learn how to walk so that I can run around that place all day long!

Before we go to the pictures, I just want to have a moment of silence to remember my Great-Grandpa in Hong Kong, who just passed away on Monday evening, Hong Kong time. May you rest in peace!
- love, Addison

My "Full-Month" (滿月) Dinner Party

Wow! What a party! Last night was the first time that I was out for long period of time! Also, last night was the first time that Mommy and Daddy took me out to dinner! Just to make sure that they will take me out again, I behaved extremely well! For the most part of the evening, I didn't cry, nor screamed. I tried to smile a lot, and tried very hard to let everyone to get their hands all over me. It's tough, because you all know that I don't like that strangers touching me, or holding me.

Our outing started with a longer-than-usual (to me) drive. Right before we left the house, I was feeling a bit hungry, so Mommy decided to give me a feeding before we left. Which also pushed our schedule a bit behind. About 25 minutes of driving later, we were the last one to show up at the party. But Daddy told me not to worry because the important people always show up last! The thing is... I wasn't too sure if he was referring to me, or himself!

As we walked into the room, I heard a lot of people making 'Ah' noises. I even heard a few hands clapping! I turned around and saw 3 tables full of people all starring at me! Wow, I didn't expect that many people to me there, but Daddy told me that that was about the right number!

Like I mentioned earlier, I was behaving very well throughout the evening. Everyone wants to hold me and take pictures with me. I saw quite a few new faces, and a few that I have already met a few times before.

But most of them have visited my web-site, so they are fairly up-to-date on my good looks and charm. There were quite a few younger looking girls that I have not met before. Mommy told me that they are my cousins. I can't wait to play with them... assuming that they don't mind playing with boys... a good looking boy!

In addition to pictures, I also received plenty of gifts! Just when I thought Christmas was over, there was another table-full of gifts! Once again, I really wished that I can unwrap those gifts myself!

That's my Aunt Juanita and Aunt Phoebe up there! I think I'm finally unafraid of Aunt Juanita's evil-look. I even managed to cracked a smile at her, as you can see from the album below. After all, she did buy me some very very nice Christmas gifts!

Oh... did I mention that there were plenty of food as well? Again, I wouldn't know what they taste like. But everybody else seemed to be enjoying the food! And that bottle of Sprite sitting on the table... I wanted to have a taste of it so bad!

The evening ended with a lot of laughters and happy faces! I finally got this chance to meet my extended family in L.A. I think it's time for Mommy and Daddy to take me on a trip to Hong Kong to visit the other half of my family there!

One last thing before I conclude this post... today is my favorite Unlce Chris' birthday! I want to wish him a Happy Birthday, and best wishes and luck in the coming year!

Hmm... I thought I overheard that there's a New Year's Eve party somewhere tomorrow night?

My First Christmas!

No, those pictures weren't taken on Christmas!  Instead, it was taken a few days before Christmas when Mommy and Daddy tooke me on a trip to Costco.  I think most people would agree that I look so cute in this outfit.  That's why I'm sharing these 2 pictures with my Readers.

Now, let's talk about my first Christmas!

First of all, now that I know I am supposed to get gifts... plenty of gifts!... during Christmas, I wish there is one Christmas every month!  Grandma, Aunt Phoebe, and Uncle Chris were all here to celebrate Christmas with us.  In addition, Mr. Edward Wong - a long time friend of the family, was also here.   He brought a bottle of Merlot, but Daddy said it is some kind of grape juice that I won't be trying for a very long time!  It was a fun evening because everyone was having a good time.  There were gifts everywhere, for everyone.  Too bad I don't have enough muscle-control to unwrap the gifts.  Therefore, Daddy had to do it for me.  But unwrapping gifts seems exciting to me!

Below is a video, highlighting my first Christmas! This video is merely a quick fix-up attempt from the video editing software that I have just started learning how to use. I hope you will like it.

I know there have a been a lot of Readers/Fans hitting my site in the past few days, looking for some new pictures taken over Christmas. Thank you for visiting my site. It's been so busy in the past few days that I hardly had time to spend on my web-site. To make it up to you, below are the pictures that are exactly what you were looking for!

Finally, the video and pictures below are to show Grandma how much I enjoy the gift that she bought me. In this video, you can also see that I am beginning to make those "aah goo" sound (or noise, depending on your view on babies). It's a rather long video, but this is what Mommy and Daddy do most of the day, when I'm not sleeping, crying, or being fed. They play with me, and look at me for long period of time.

Tonight will be another big event night for me. Daddy is hosting a "Full-Month" dinner event on my behalf. Yeah, I know I'm more than 1 month old now. But since there will be plenty of people, Mommy and Daddy didn't want me to expose to large crowds when I was still merely 4 weeks old. That's why we decided wait till now, which is already 6+ weeks, believe it or not! Stay tune for more pictures!

Me vs. Jason Bourne

I was in Russia running from this CIA agent named J. Bourne. Unfortunately, my car ran out of gas, and Bourne caught up to me. He threw a punch right at me, and I ducked! I then ran into this apartment complex, and he caught up to me again. I was forced into this emptied apartment, and Bourne started to throw things at me. Things like books, lamps, glasses, tables, chairs, and etc. I know I'm quick, agile, and my reflex is top notch. But I can only make so many moves to avoid all these flying objects. Well, one of this antique lamp that was thrown at me caught me at my nose. Otherwise, I was okay! I jumped off this window, into the river down below, swam ashore, and continued my escape from Bourne... and that's when I woke up from my dream... realized that I've scratched my nose in my sleep.

Fun Time with Grandparents

Following Grandma (Chan)'s visit on Friday night, Grandma and Grandpa (Tong) also made a visit on Saturday. Grandpa just returned from a business trip from Shanghai on Thursday, and he just couldn't wait to come see me! Speaking of Shanghai, Daddy told me that it is a place that he will bring me there someday!

As usual, whenever the Grandparents are visiting, it means good food that I wouldn't know the taste! But as a trade off, I get plenty of spoiling. Although I have to admit that Grandma (Tong) is beginning to pickup my little tricks here and there, and she is starting to know when am I being naughty and just screaming for attention.

Anyway, below are some pictures of me and my Grandparents. Enjoy!

Some Spoiling from My Grandma

Grandma came to visit me on Friday night. She prepared food for Mommy and Daddy, and spent some time holding me in her arms. Unfortunately, I wasn't in too much of a good mood because Daddy had been keeping me up the whole evening, wouldn't let me sleep! Therefore, I'd been crying for quite a bit throughout the evening. Of course... since I knew Grandma was in-da-house, I wanted to push the limit a bit, just to make sure I get the proper dosage of "spoiling." And it worked like a charm!

Mommy and Daddy have this rule that if I'm fed, and diaper changed, and I am still screaming murder, they will just let me vent my anger for 10 minutes... alone! Well, since I still have a rather short attention span, my screaming usually lasts less than 10 minutes, unless something is really bugging me. But on Friday night when Grandma was here, I barely had to raise my voice to scream, and I'm already in my Grandma's arms... faster than you can say 'Addison!' What an luxury! Now I just hope that Grandma come visit more often so that I don't have to beat that stupid 10 minutes trap!

Here are a few pictures of me and Grandma. Isn't she pretty? I bet when she takes me to Toys-r-us, people will just assume that she's my Mom!

I Watched My First Jay Leno Show

Well, Daddy told me that it was a re-run, but I wouldn't know. You know, that Jay Leno guy was pretty funny! You can see that I enjoyed his monologue quite a bit! Yeah, it was way past my bed time, but I didn't feel sleepy at all. In fact, I didn't feel sleepy until almost 3am this morning. Unfortunately... for Mommy and Daddy, soon after Leno was over, I started crying and crying. I didn't know why I cried so much last night. Maybe it was because Conan O'Brien and Carson Daly weren't as funny as Leno, and that's why I was so upset. Or maybe it was a bit cold last night, and I was just not used to it.

I cried so much last night that Mommy almost threw me off the window! Only it was Daddy who stopped her from doing so at the very last minute, and told Mommy that he would like to take the honor instead. That's when I knew that I was in really big trouble... when Daddy had to get off his bed (on the wrong side, apparently) at 3am to put me to sleep! I got quiet rather quickly and mysteriously, I felt asleep.

I think Daddy was so upset at me last night that he decided to wake up early to visit work again! Otherwise, why would he wake so early in the moring when he got so little sleep last night? Anyway, this evening, when he came back from visiting work, I pretended to be a good boy for a few minutes, just to cheer him up. He did look a bit tired, and he told Mommy that his left arm is beginning to sore. I think Daddy was hinting that I'm gaining weight. But I think he just need to chill! He probably strained his left arm while driving his BMW!

My Mini 1-Month-Old 滿月Party

As mentioned, the Grandmas threw me a mini-滿月(1-month) party at home yesterday! Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris, Aunt Juanita and Aunt Peggy, and the Grandmas were all here after work. Grandma (Chan) even started preparing the food the night before. There were plenty of yummy food, and most importantly, there was also a very delicious (looking) chocolate cake too!
Throughout the night, everyone wanted to hold me and they just didn't want to let me go! Below are a few pictures that Daddy took, when Aunt Juanita was holding me in her arms. A picture speaks a thousand words. With 3 pictures, it only means more words!

After last night's party, I seriously believe that Aunt Juanita has some kind of problems with me. I even sensed some anger in her, when she was holding me last night. If you don't believe me, you can watch the video below. Although I was all quiet when she was on the phone, I was actually so freaked out by her mean look that I was actually shitting my diaper at that moment. And when I started crying again, I couldn't believe that she wanted to bit off my tiny little hand! Her evil smile and her devilish stare almost gave me nightmare last night!

Just when I thought my 5 minutes in Aunt Juanita's arms was scary, I was exposed to a totally different kind of trauma later last night. I might be 1 month old, but my body is just not ready for roller-coaster-type of turbulence yet! When Aunt Phoebe was holding me, I really thought that my lungs, kidney, and intestines were all going to get re-shuffled to a new location! I actually wanted to ask Daddy to show me how to 'slow-motion' this video clip so that my Viewers can catch a glimpse of my worried looking face. Too bad that Daddy has been busy today!

By the time I arrived at Uncle Chris' arms, I was completely exhausted. I only had some strength left to cry, and nothing else. You can see in the video below that Uncle Chris was trying to bribe me with some money, hoping that I will stop crying. Well, nice try! Just leave the money with me, while I continue to cry!

Here are some more pictures that I took with different people yesterday. I just wish that I could have a bite of that chocolate cake. It looks really yummy!

Last but not least, I want to conclude today's post with another one of my 'Tummy Time' performance. I just want to show off the strength of my neck muscles! This video was shot early yesterday afternoon, before everyone arrived at my house.

I'm 1 Month Old! 滿月!

Can someone tell me why Daddy has been waking up so early in the morning and then disappeared!? What is 'work'? Why does he have to always go visit work?

I'm officially 1 month old today! Grandma (Chan) stayed at our place last night, and prepared meals for us today. She will be staying with us again tonight.

Daddy told me that we are going to have a small party tomorrow at home, with the Grandmas, Uncle Chris, and Aunt Juanita visiting, to celebrate my 1-month birthday.

Below is a video of me... being forced to do some 'Tummy Time.' The video was shot a few days earlier.

Now comes the pictures! These are all taken within the past 24 hours. Yes, these are pictures of me at 1-month age! I can't believe I'm 1 month old already!

Eye check and Vitamins Intake

I don't know why Daddy kept moving from left to right, to left, to right, while holding his camera in this video below. I just know that I am very photogenic. That's why I always try to look at the camera, as soon as I am aware that someone is filming me. But Daddy, in this video clip, just thought that my eyes just started to recognize things, and my brain has just started to instruct my eyes to follow the object within my eyesight. Check out how stupid he looks!

Later in the day, I was crying for just no good reason... as always. And somehow Daddy managed to sneaked a drop of vitamin in my mouth, while I was screaming on top of my lungs. Well, what else could I had done other than to just shut-up and taste the vitamin!? Somehow both Mommy and Daddy thought that I look cute and funny. Well, I do!

Finally, here are some pictures that Mommy and Daddy took in the past few days. Enjoy!
