Yogurt Tastes Good!

Yes, I like yogurt. Especially the kind that Mommy eats. I'm okay with the kind that are made for kids. I'll take it! But if given the choice, I prefer Mommy's because it has strawberry or peach flavor.

Last night, we went out to dinner with Mommy's friend Uncle James and his family. They came from Arizona. If you were one of those who read that Golden Little Piggy blog about this baby who lives inside his Mommy's tummy, you should recall that Uncle James left quite a few comments there. It was my first time meeting Uncle James. He has 2 boys but they are much older than I am. He also bought me some gifts. Check them out from the pictures below.

A Busy Sunday!

I had a very busy Sunday!

Mommy and Daddy first took me to Uncle Chris' apartment to see if Uncle Chris has anything good that he forgot to bring with him back to Hong Kong. It turned out that there was this huge big screen TV sitting in the living room waiting for Daddy to take it away. Oh, did I mention that there's also a chair that moves?

Since it was my first time visit, I thought it was only appropriate to leave something behind at Uncle Chris' place as a token of appreciation. But since no one told me that we are visiting Uncle Chris' place ahead of time, I didn't prepare any gift. Instead I decided to poop and left behind a poopy diaper. Yes, Daddy forgot to take it out of the house when we left, so it's still sitting there! Since no one lives there right now... did I mention that all the windows were shut closed when we got there?

Anyway, before we left, I took a few pictures with Grandma at the parking lot. You can see that it was a very nice and sunny day, and I looked as good as Grandma!

So after our visit to Uncle Chris' place, we headed straight to a dinner event. Grand Aunt Jean and Grand Uncle Barton are celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary at a Restaurant in Monterey Park for dinner. It means that there will be plenty of food that I could only look at but not taste.

When we arrived, there were already a quite a few people there, and as soon as I walked into the room, all eyes were turned to me! Well, I can't help it! Everyone wanted to hold me and touch me. They all tried to talk to me. And at my age, the good thing is, I don't really have to respond to them. To tell you the truth, I was actually thinking if I should cry out loud, or just stay quiet. But as I was still thinking, I was already being taken over, and being carried around, by quite a few people already.

As you can see from the pictures below, I actually fell asleep when the dinner was served. They all thought that I was tired. Instead, I just didn't want to look at them eating, while I couldn't taste any of the food. Therefore, I pretended to be sleeping.

I woke up as they were finishing the courses. Again, I was being passed around... but as soon as the girls noticed that I'm awake, they just swamped around me.

Fortunately, I'm kind of used to it already. I used to get swamped around by a bunch of old ladies whenever Mommy takes me to the Supermarket. (Actually, it is still happening unless Mommy cover up the stroller with a blanket.) So this is way better! But you know, sometimes younger girls are more immature.

Here are the rest of the pictures taken from the dinner party. You can see that it was a very busy night for me!

Here is a video showing Grandpa holding me in his arms shortly after I woke up.

It's a Rat! Not a Mouse!

I don't know if any of you knew that my Daddy works for a Rat! Yes, a rat! But his company likes to call it a Mouse. To me, a mouse is something that connects to a computer or laptop.

Daddy's company even gives this Rat a name called Mickey. So, Mickey Rat. They even put clothes on this rat, made this rat to wear a pair of white gloves, and taught this stupid rat to walk with 2 of his 4 legs only.

I'm a Scouser... I Guess!?

Well, according to Daddy, Liverpool Football Club has once again made it to the Champions League Semi-Final for the 3rd time in 4 years. And for the 3rd time in 4 years, Liverpool is playing Chelsea. The first leg, which will take place at Anfield, kicks off on Tuesday, April 22. So please... show your support for Daddy's team. I did, and so can you!

Having Dim Sum With Grandparents

It's Saturday! Mommy and Daddy took me to meet Grandma and Grandpa at a Dim Sum restaurant. This is my first time visiting a Dim Sum restaurant, and let me tell you... I wasn't that impressed. That place was noisy! As soon as I arrived there, the ambience immediately put me in a bad mood. That's why whenever Grandma and Grandpa tried to hold me, I screamed! I was pretty sure that it had nothing to do with them. I just knew that I was in an unfamiliar territory... kind of like Liverpool playing at Old Trafford type of feeling. Who would feel comfortable at that, right?

Dim Sum with Grandpa from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

Finally, Uncle Joseph, who was also there, took me for a cruise around the restaurant to calm me down. At first, he told me that he's going to walk around the restaurant and show me some good looking 'chicks.' (Yes, I soon found out that he wasn't referring to McDonald's Chicken McNuggets type of 'chicks.') But along the way, all I heard from him was 'yuck', 'butt ugly', 'what? that's a female?', 'forget that one', and even 'don't look over there!.' Half way through our restaurant tour, he decided to change the theme of his tour a bit... to 'Girls that I shouldn't go out with when I grow up.' As you can see from the tour below, I wasn't too thrill when the tour ended so quickly. Fortunately, Grandma was there to take over.

Cruising with Uncle Joseph from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

It was a really hot day! By the time we were done with Dim Sum, and walked back to our car, the temperature read 98 degrees Fahrenheit. Yeah, I'm used to Celcius too! But that's what Daddy's BMW is showing, and certainly my butt was feeling it too!

By the time we got home, I was soaking wet! No, Daddy's Bimmer was just cool enough (both inside, outside, and Daddy himself!), it was that stupid car seat that made me all hot and sweaty! Think about it... while every occupant is facing forward and enjoying the breeze from the AC, I had to face backward with the seat back blocking off all the cool air. So how could I chill under such hostile circumstances? That's why as soon as Mommy got me into the house, she took off all my clothes. I immediately turn back to a happy camper, as you can see from the pictures below.

Yes, I Thought Daddy Stabbed Me!

Hey, how was I supposed to know? Daddy is an adult, and I'm not. How would I know if his movement was so fast that I didn't even see his arm moved. I mean, I could have been stabbed by Daddy with a knife or something. After all, he's been telling everyone that I'm naughty and I'm not sleeping through the night bla bla bla. That's why when he raised his voice at me, I had to prepared for the worse. And when the worse case scenario happens, what do you do? You cry! And that is exactly what I did. So, you cannot blame me for crying. I was just learning how to react in front of my Grandparents, should this happen again when they are around. So chill!

Oh, for those who plan to watch this video from work, may I recommend you to turn down the volume a bit. (And no, Daddy's voice wasn't thaaaat loud.)

Update: You know... don't blame me for crying. The adults just shouldn't talk to me with their adult tone to begin with. I can't help it, okay?

I Took 2 Baths In 1 Day... Guess Why!?

Yes, and the picture here is taken from the second bath. Why? Because my poop had so much force and volume that it went beyond the ability of my diaper. Yes, it was everywhere! And yes, it was just right after my bath. Hey, I already did Mommy and Daddy a favor by not pooping in the bathtub. So what do you expect!?

But before I show you my latest bathing video, I would like to bring back some memories. Long time readers of my blog will definately remember my first bath video...

I was merely 20 days old when this 'First Bath' video was shot.

When I posted this video below, I was 2 months old then. Yes, I looked older, but most critics agreed that I still retained every bit of my good looks at my age.

I'm 5 Months Old!

Yesterday, I celebrated my 5 months old birthday by not sleeping at night. I was so excited that I just couldn't fall asleep. Could you believe that I'm already 5 months old? My cute face looks so young that when I go out, people thought that I'm only 4 months old!

Back to my celebration. I felt honored to have Mommy to be by my side all night long, throughout the celebration. She looked tired, but I'm sure that she wanted to stay up with me as well. Daddy was a little bit disappointing. He slept through the night without even waking up in the middle to check on us.

Anyway, my all-night celebration ended right around sunrise. By then I was exhausted, and fell asleep... finally.

Here are some pictures that Mommy took during the day.

Here is a video showing Mommy giving me some water through a straw. I don't know if you've heard... I don't like using Baby Bottle. Baby Bottles are for kids only. I don't know why Mommy and Daddy thinks that Baby Bottles suit me.

Eating is Tiring

If you've been following this blog, you should know that I have just recently started eating that so-called 'solid food.'  Seriously, if that's call solid-food, I wonder what does that piece of dark chocolate called!  Anyway, I don't know why, but usually when I eat, I fall asleep.  And this time, someone took the opportunity to snap a few photos of me, sleeping... peacefully... right after a meal.

My First Meeting with Grand-Aunt Winnie

Grand-Aunt Winnie, aka Juanita's Mom, has arrived from Hong Kong last week. Although she claims that she is here on vacation, and to visit Aunt Juanita, I honestly believe that those were just excuses. I think the reason why she is here is to meet me for the first time. After all, how could a smart person like Grand-Aunt Winnie, resist from seeing me, when the only mean of seeing my cute face was by reading this blog? After all, I truly believe that holding me for the first time is totally worth the 15 hours or so flight time!

So it's been a few days since her arrival, and Aunt Juanita has finally decided to bring her Mom for a visit. Grand-Aunt Winnie was very impressed with my weight, as well as how loud I cried. I impressed her so much that she even gave me a red-envelope (利是), just to honor this special moment! I, of course, have the whole thing on video...

Fifteen, Twenty?

If you know what Daddy is doing, good for you! Because I don't have a clue what he is trying to do. It looked to me that he's either trying to punch me, or slap me. I laughed because I didn't think he knew that I had a camera on him. And if he did punch, or slap, me, I'll just send the video to his Mom... aka, my Grandma!

So, back to what Daddy was doing in this video. Mommy later told me that it's an old and popular game that is more commonly played in drinking places. But Mommy also told me that Daddy can't drink. So I don't understand how, when, or where did he learn this so-called game. As you can see towards the end of this video, I was forced to drink too! I think that was hardly fair! Can someone show me how to play this game, please? Otherwise, I will get drunk pretty soon!

More Food, More Energy, More Tricks!

It's that simple! If you give me more food, I will you more entertainment! Today, I had my first solid food. Although technically, it wasn't really solid like Daddy's chocolate bar, but it's still better than just milk! I guess that's all I have to settle for, for now, until I get some teeth coming out of my gums!

So what did I eat today? I wish I could tell you that it was a slice of Godiva Cheesecake. Because I know I don't need teeth for that. But it wasn't. What I had was a full serving of Gerber Carrots. It may not look that appetizing to you, but it did for me. I finished that whole thing in no time. Although portion of it was spread all over my face, hands, and clothes, Mommy and Daddy are still very proud of me! By the way, did I mention that I was still hungry after this little container was emptied? Yeah, I did get some milk afterwards. Hey, I need something to drink, along with my meal, okay!?

Later in the evening, when Daddy came home, I just couldn't wait to tell Daddy what I ate today. However, I was just too busy doing sit-ups with Mommy. They also learned that not only I have learned how to do sit-ups, I also managed a follow-up routine called 'stand-up' too! Check out the video here if you don't believe me!

My First Easter!

Happy Easter!

It was a fun weekend because I got gifts! I didn't know that Easter is also a season for giving (to me.) That's why I was pleasantly surprised when Daddy took me to shopping for my private chair. Yup, I got my chair now! I don't have to share chairs with anyone, anymore. More importantly, I get to sit closer to the dining table during meals. As opposed to sitting in that bouncing chair (that hardly bounces itself), sitting high up and closer to the dining table is one small step for Mommy and Daddy, one big step for Addison.

Well, this is what I got from Mommy and Daddy for Easter.

Now, this is the same chair with me sitting on it. Don't you think I made the chair look more expensive?

But my gift just didn't stop there! Aunt Juanita and Aunt Peggy both brought me gifts too! Specifically, it was an Easter Basket! Dad believes that I'm the first person in the history of our family who receives a specific Easter Basket gift for Easter! Well, I'm also the first person in the history of our family who looks like a million bucks! So here's your answer, Dad!

Back to my basket... Wow! It has so many stuff in it! Food, toys, clothes, etc. I can't be more happier! I like it a lot! Thanks to Aunt Juanita and Aunt Peggy! Here's a picture of what the basket looks like.

Finally, how could we spent Easter at home without taking some pictures! Here they are...

Look Who's Talking!

Today, I spent the evening playing with Mommy and Daddy. They seemed to like it a lot whenever I talk. But they didn't seem to understand what I was actually talking about. How difficult could it be, to really understand what I was realy trying to say. Somehow, they just don't get it!

My 4-Month Check-up!

I had my 4-month check-up today!

It was really not big deal because I just had my 2-month check-up, well, 2 months ago! I was expecting the same old thing of weighting me, and listening to what the doctor has to say about my good look.

But wait! I think there's one thing that I have forgotten! The last time when I was there, I had to take 4 injections! But wait... was it painful at all? I don't seem to remember.

Well, instead of having me to tell you, why don't you just watch the video yourself.

Just for the record... I measured 25-inches in height, and weight in at 16.8 pounds. Dr. Kim said my weight is in the top 25 percentile for good looking boys at my age. The same goes for the size of my head. But Daddy said it only means that I am (going to be) a brain-iac. As for my height, I'm right at average for my age group.

By the way, were you able to tell that the nurse was totally impressed by my bravery?

Here are some pictures taken while we were waiting for the doctor.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Arcadia

Mommy and Daddy took me to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Arcadia today. I haven't met Grandma and Grandpa since I left for Orlando, so it has been a while since I saw them. Just as I predicted, they both told me that I have grown a lot, and that I'm getting more and more good looking!

In addition to meeting Grandpa and Grandma, I also got to see Aunt Annie and Uncle Joseph too! Later in the evening, Uncle Steven also showed up. I haven't met them for a while already. They all spent some time to play with me, which was fun! I also had a chance to check out this new device/ride that was left sitting in Grandma's living room. I think I'm still too small for it. So maybe when I grow bigger, I will bring it home with me if Daddy lets me.

Below are some pictures and a video. Check it out.

Playing with Daddy / Complaining About Tummy Time

I just want to share with you 2 new videos of me. The first one is a documentary. Yes, the kind that you will see on Discovery Channel or something. Basically it's a documentary of me, Addison Chan, describing how much I hate Tummy time. This is totally new stuff! We are talking about footage that has never been released before. Check it out...

After some complaining, on the same day, Daddy tried to make it up to me by, literally, throwing stuff at me! I normally wouldn't like it. But the fact that I don't have to do Tummy Time anymore was just too much joy to handle! Go see it for yourself if you don't believe me.

Bon Voyage, Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris!

I can't believe that I'm back at this place called the Airport again so soon! I was just here about 2 weeks ago! Although I'm at the International Terminal this time where most people's suitcases are bigger. Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris are leaving for Hong Kong today. I mentioned it once in my previous post that Hong Kong needs Uncle Chris save its economy, and therefore, Hong Kong is inviting Uncle Chris to go back there for a while. That is according to what Daddy told me.

We woke up rather early today to get ready for the airport visit. We arrived there at 10:30am, while Uncle Chris' flight does not leave until 12:30pm. When we arrived at the airport, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Phoebe, Uncle Chris were all there already, waiting for me! Yeah, even thought I was not the one who's leaving, I still get to be the center of attention, as always!

As soon as I saw Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris, I really wanted to jump out of my stroller to give them a hug and ask them not to leave again. But then, I realize that I couldn't jump yet, so I just remained quiet laying inside my stroller. Luckily, it didn't take long before Uncle Chris picked me up from the stroller.

Below are some pictures taken at the airport. Yeah, most of them are taken when Uncle Chris was holding me. And that is exactly what happened throughout the late morning before Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris waved goodbye to us.

And here's a video of my crying... yeah, I was crying because I didn't want Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris to leave. But somehow, no one understood why was I crying. And when they started guessing, and guessed wrong, that's when I really got irritated.

Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris, please take good care of yourselves! I am so looking forward to seeing you two again!

Uncle Chris is Leaving?

Where is he going? Why is he leaving? Daddy's answer was that he's heading back to Hong Kong because he is needed in Hong Kong to stabilize the economy. Well, maybe he should stabilize US economy first!

I really don't want Uncle Chris to leave! I was totally expecting him to play football with me as soon as I can run and talk at the same time. What am I going to do now? Yeah, I know I can still play with my Daddy. But based on what I have heard, Daddy's footballing skill is incomparable to Uncle Chris'. (For those who wonder what I meant by 'incomparable'... Uncle Chris is better!) Therefore, I really don't want you to leave! After all, you are the Winner of the "Guess MY Due-Date Contest." Yeah, you were the one who knew that I will be late arriving into this world, when everyone thought that I was going to be early. Therefore, I felt like you are the only person who knows how I feel and what I think! (Below is picture of Mommy and Daddy presenting the Grand Prize to Uncle Chris for winning the contest.)

Just when I thought that I still get to spend a few more weekends with Uncle Chris, Daddy told me that Uncle Chris is actually leaving tomorrow! What? He's telling me this now? Did I not read Daddy's email or something? How come nobody told me about this sooner? I guess that is why we are heading to Grandma's place today, on a weekday!

As you can imagine, I spent quite some time with Uncle Chris during this visit to Riverside because I know I will miss him tremendously once he's left. As you can tell from the pictures below, I couldn't get myself together towards the end of the day and finally broke down and cry. It's okay. It's okay. I shall be fine, because I'm tough!

I have some more pictures and video below that highlights my weekend with Uncle Chris and Aunt Phoebe. But before we go there, Daddy shared with me this picture that he took when Aunt Phoebe was talking (more like negotiating) to Grandma. My Chinese is still a bit rusty, and therefore, I really don't know what is written there. Will someone be so kind to leave me a comment after this post to translate what is written there? (Oh, and if you cannot read it clearly, click on the picture itself for an enlarged view.)

Here comes the rest of the pictures:

A Full Day of Photo-shoot

Daddy got this nice Canon camera from Uncle Jae, and both Mom and Dad have been having quite some fun with it.  But of course, just because it's a nice camera, it doesn't mean that the object/person in the picture will automatically becomes good looking.  When you have the looks (like mine), no matter what camera you would use, the pictures will still come out stunning!  In the set of photos below, let's just say... the camera didn't have to work that hard to make me looks so... good!

The Clock is Working Just Fine! Stop Adjusting it!

I don't understand... why change the time? Maybe I don't want to understand. It's really late at night, and we just came back from Riverside. And now, Daddy told me that we have just lost 1 more hour! I thought they were just kidding earlier when they said they want to mess with the clock.

Anyway, here are some pictures that Daddy took today. I have to go to sleep now. Thanks for stopping by!

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 6

Today is our last day here at the Walt Disney World. Since our flight doesn't leave Orlando until later in the evening, it means that we had some time during the day to make a few more visits around the Resort here.

Our first stop was at the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Daddy made lunch reservation there, and you can see from the few pictures below that this hotel is nice!

Right after lunch, Mommy and Daddy took me to Disney's Animal Kingdom for a few photos. Yeah, we were there just to take a few photos... and this video too!

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 4

After the rain from last night, the outside temperature has dropped 20+ degreeds from yesterday's high. It was very cold outside early this afternoon even when the sun was shining. Because of the low temperature, Mommy decided to keep in indoor for as much as possible. Therefore Mommy and I didn't really head outside until later this evening. Our destination for this evening is... Downtown Disney!

Once again, we met up with Uncle Jae for dinner at Downtown Disney, and this evening we ate at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant. After dinner, Mommy and Daddy walked around Downtown Disney for a bit, before heading back to our hotel room.

The video below is a virtual tour of our room at the Beach Club.

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 3

Today's weather hasn't been that good so Mommy and I have been staying in our room most of the time to take some photos of me, until Daddy gets back from work.

When Daddy returned from work, we headed out towords the Boardwalk resort area to meet Uncle Jae for the first time for dinner. But as we (Mommy and Daddy) were walking towards the restaurant, it began to rain heavily! I guess that's my first 'walking in the rain!' I met Uncle Jae and we had dinner together. It was still pouring outside after dinner, so Mommy an Daddy decided to hang out at the lobby of the Boardwalk Inn until the rain dies down. It did so after about 15 minutes, and we walked back to our hotel room in light rain. A rainy day 3 of Walt Disney World visit.

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 2

It's day 2 of my visit and Daddy left the hotel room early this morning to visit 'work.' Meanwhile, Mommy and I didn't really wake until early in the afternoon. Well, this is because I didn't sleep much last night. I think I'm still missing my own bed. I'm not used to sleeping in the stroller, you know!?

So as soon as I'm fed and dressed, Mommy took me out for a walk around the Epcot Resort area. There's a nice boardwalk area around the lake, and it is really beautiful!

After Mommy had lunch, we went back to the room to wait for Daddy to get off work. When Daddy came back, we immediately headed out again! Tonight, we are heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios! But to get there, we are going to take a boat ride first! Yes, it means that I got to take my first ever boat ride, and here's a video to share!

My First Boat Ride from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

We walked around the Studios a bit and snapped a few pictures. Afterwards, I decided to poop... so much so that I had it all over my body! It took Daddy quite a while to get me cleaned up and changed into some clean clothes. By then, it was already late in the evening, and we headed back to the hotel room after Mommy and Daddy grabbed dinner at the park.

Here are some pictures that highlight my day 2 at the Walt Disney World.

My First Visit to the Walt Disney World - Day 1

As mentioned in my previous posts, I knew Mommy and Daddy had something in their sleeves to bring me somewhere. I just didn't know when and where. So on Saturday morning, when I saw them packing suitcases of stuff, and removed the car seat from Mommy's BMW, I knew I wasn't just heading to Riverside to meet Grandma!

During the afternoon, I noticed that Mommy pretty much packed all the clothes that I have into the suitcase! Wow! She even threw in a stack of diapers! Yet, they still wouldn't tell me where they are taking me to. I was beginning to wonder if Mommy and Daddy had enough of me, and decided to give me away!? I guessed wrong because they also packed their own clothes too! Not just mine. Phew!

When night time falls, Daddy's cell phone finally rang, and there it was a black color car waiting outside of our house. Daddy took my car seat and put it inside that car, while the driver of that car started throwing our luggage into the trunk. The driver even took my stroller too!

After about a 20 minutes of driving, we arrived at this place called LAX, with plenty of people walking around with suitcases too! Then Mommy and Daddy took all the luggage and walked up to the counter to told that guy behind the counter to take all our luggage, and my car seat, and send them to this place called Orlando!

Orlando? Where's that? What's there? More importantly, if we are going to 'Orlando', why are we getting off that car at this strange place?

After this much thinking, I began to feel tired and felt asleep. And when I woke up again, it was when Mommy lifted me off the stroller, and took me inside this strange place with rolls and rolls of seats. I later learned that I was actually inside an airplane!

It turned out that I was taking this red-eye flight to Orlando, Florida, with Mommy and Daddy to visit Walt Disney World!

A few hours later, we arrived at Orlando!

Daddy then picked up the car rental and drove to our hotel at the Beach Club in Walt Disney World.

Since none of us had much sleep, all of us quickly grabbed some sleep as soon as we checked-in to our hotel room. We slept for a few hours, and when we woke up, it was already late in the afternoon. And it's time to have some fun!

Mommy and Daddy took me to this place called Epcot! There were so many people there! We took a few pictures from Epcot, and then Mommy and Daddy sat down for dinner. After their meal, Daddy held me in his arms to showed me my first ever fireworks show! It looks nice... but I have to say it seemed a bit over-rated to me. It looks just like the screensaver that Daddy has on his computer!

Anyway, I felt bored rather quickly, and I started to feel hungry anyway. So I decided to cry so that Mommy and Daddy got the message that it's time to head back to our room. This pretty much concludes our first day of the trip!

Here are a few pictures to share with you...

Here is a video of me watching the fireworks with Daddy. You can tell that it is really 'no big deal' to me!

Last but not least, here's a video of Daddy asking me if I am having much fun so far. I didn't say a thing because I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I really wanted to tell him that the fireworks were overated!

Me vs. Jason Bourne (Part II - Bourne Supremacy)

That face... that face looks so familiar! I must have seen him before... Yes! That's the CIA Agent that I once met, faught, car chased and succesfully escaped from! He's back! I can't let him see me... oops, I think it's too late. He's walking towards me now. Maybe if I hide behind this Ferrari, he would just walk right by. I guess not! He's starring right at me! I better run! But I slipped! Too late now! He threw a punch right at me! I replied with 2 quick punches, and then I smash his head through the Ferrari's Passenger side window. I turned around and ran across the street. He wanted to follow, but a car almost hit him! Too late for him... I escaped into subway station. I looked at myself through the reflection of a window. That's when I saw Jason Bourne standing right behind me! I tried to move, but I couldn't. I panicked. That's when I woke up screaming and crying for Mommy. Oh well, I scratched my face again!

The video below was taken yesterday when Mommy was showing me a video clip of myself, and how I said 'Yai Yai' for the first time.

Caught on Camera! 曳曳 and Pooping

Okay, Folks! Turn up the volume real loud because I'm sure you don't want to miss this!

From the video clip below, see if you can catch me saying 'Yai Yai 曳曳' and my butt making pooping sound! Oh, and if you want to watch this video in Full HD (High Definition), simply click on the 'Caught on Camera...' link located right underneath the video. I'm trying out this video hosting service called Vimeo, which allows me to post my video in HD. After all, Daddy spent all this money on that HD camcorder, shouldn't my videos be presented in HD too!?

Here are some pictures that Daddy took today.

Now, I continue to overheard some conversation between Mommy and Dadddy about some journey next week, and how much diapers they need to bring. I really think that they are taking me somewhere, and it's not Riverside! I said this before, and I want to say it again... I am not interested in going anywhere further than Riverside!

Am I Going Somewhere?

I think I have overheard a conversation between Mommy and Daddy that they are planning on taking me on a trip to somewhere. Although the conversation took place when I was half asleep, I was rather sure that I heard words like 'hassle', 'tired', 'exhausting', and 'long hours.' That's why I thought they must be talking about taking me on a trip. Otherwise, I can't think of any reason why they would use such vocabularies. Oh well, I'm sure they will come asking me for my opinion, and I'm just going to tell them that if it is anything longer than a drive to Grandma's house in Riverside, I'm out!

Can you take a guess on what I'm trying to tell Mommy and Daddy below? Leave me a comment if you want to take a guess.

Finally, below are just a few pictures that Mommy took yesterday. Do you like my outfit?

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is Valentine's Day! My first Valentine's Day! Since I couldn't decide who to go out with, I made the tough decision to stay home with Mommy and Daddy instead. Sorry, girls! Maybe next year!

Early this afternoon, I was home with Mommy just chilling and doing some tummy-time. Mommy took the camera and snap a few photos of me. As you can see from the pictures below that, lately, I have been having quite some fun sticking my hand(s) into my mouth. Although Daddy has been warning me that I need to stop, since I'm still pretending I don't understand a word he said, I can still ignore him... and maybe give him a smile sometimes.

Anyway, to all the girls out there who are waiting to go out on a date with me, rest assure that I will wash my hands first before holding yours!

Last but not lesat, I want to give a special Valentine's Day shout out to Chloe, Sophie, Julie, and Rachel. Happy Valentine's Day to you all! Don't think of me too much!

恭喜發財! Happy Chinese New Year!

恭喜發財! Happy Chinese New Year!

Yes, I know. I'm cute in that outfit! Yes, I know. I do look good in red.

So, this is my first Chinese New Year. I knew Daddy has been on the phone in the past few days talking to my Grandparents wishing them good health, money, good health, and money. I also overheard that people are wishing me to 'fast tall grow big.' Yeah, if you don't understand it in English, don't expect me to understand it in Chinese either! Why do they want me to grow up so fast? I'm just happy at where I am. I get to cry whenever I want; I get to stick my entire fist inside my mouth whenever I want... even when Daddy threatens to put tobassco on my fingers. (Yeah, try me, Daddy! I'm so scare that my legs are shaking! If you do that to me, I'll tell Grandma!)

Technically speaking, the New Year was on Thursday. But since Daddy had to work on Thursday and Friday, we didn't visit my Grandparents until over the weekend.

First stop, Riverside! We arrived there at approximately 5pm on Saturday afternoon, and as always, everyone wants to hold me. I was so busy that day, I hardly had time to cry at all! For the record, the first 利是 that I received for the New Year was from Aunt Juanita (see picture!) Once that started, all the 利是 just kept on coming! I even received a special one from Grandma! Because when Grandma was handing out 利是 to everyone, there were any writings on the 利是, but mine got some special messages. Anyway, it was a very fun evening, and we didn't get home almost 1am!

Second stop, Arcadia! We arrived there at approximately 6pm on Sunday afternoon, just in time for dinner... for the grown ups! I also received a ton of 利是 from Grandma and Grandpa! As you can see from the pictures, Grandpa was especially happy when I was in his arms. The picture below give you an idea of how many 利是 I have received! On last count, according to Daddy, the total amount of 利是 collected comes out to be $26.92! But Daddy said it's still isn't enough for me to buy some toys. I guess I just have to save up for a few more years.

And all these activities made me really tired as you can see from the picture below. And we didn't get home until almost 11pm.

Overall, it was a very fun and eventful weekend! Not to mention that I got to receive so many 利是. I hope you all like the pictures! Once again, Happy Chinese New Year!

Plastic Baby Bottles May Post Danger?

It's okay!  When that day comes, I prefer Iced Grande Café Mocha anyway!  But for those little kids who are still sucking bottles, you might want to tell your parents to check this out.

I'm 3 Months Old Today!

Can you believe that? I'm exactly a quarter of a year old today! 3 Months ago, I was still hiding inside my Mommy's tummy, nice and warm. Today, I'm 3 months old! To celebrate, I thought I share you some pictures that Mommy took today, in my birthday suit!

Grandma and Grandpa also visited me today. I was hoping that they would bring me some birthday gifts, but it turned out that they were here just to drop off some stuff for Daddy. However, when they arrived, Daddy was on a conference with his office negotiating some big money deals. As soon as Daddy let Grandma and Grandpa into the house, Daddy handed me over to them, and continued with his call.

While I was having so much fun with Grandma, I pooped! No big deal! I do that all the time! But since Grandma thought that Daddy is too busy to change my diaper (he was still on the conference call), Grandma decided to change my diaper... herself... for the first time... on me! (Mommy was not home at that time. I don't know where did she go.) The Diaper-change went on smoothly, I thought. But when Grandma handed me back to Daddy right before she left, I knew something was wrong. Grandma told Daddy that... "Check his clothes. His poop went all the way to the edge of the diaper, and I'm worried that his clothes might be dirty."

Then Daddy said: "Why didn't you check his clothes too during diaper change?"

Grandma said: "I tried, but I couldn't see much because he was lying on top of his own clothes during diaper change."

Daddy said: "Okay! I'll check later."

Well, Daddy didn't check me right away because he was still too busy with his work. Mommy came home, and thank God there's Mommy in this world... this is what Mommy found...

Can you believe that? It went through 2 layers of clothing! No wonder I was feeling a bit sticky on my back!

Last but not least, my Virtual City is building up nicely! I'm now allowed to build some 'Industry' because I have 2% unemployment rate in my City. To build some places for employment, please click here. Ultimately, this is how I want my city to looks like.

Stay tune for more pictures from my first Chinese New Year!

My First 團年飯 (Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner)

Since 年三十晚 (Chinese New Year's Eve) is on a weekday, the family has decided to have our 團年飯 a few days early, on the weekend. The location for my first 團年飯 is at Grandma's house. It means that I had a long road trip to Riverside again. As you can see from the first few pictures, I fell asleep in the car almost immediately.

Not only it was my first 團年飯, it was also my first Super Bowl Sunday. The New England Patriots are playing the New York Giants, with the Patriots heavily favorited. That's why you can see in the pictures that I was also wearing Tom Brady's jersey, courtesy of Aunt Peggy!

Dinner started early with plenty of food! Once again, I was left out of the food. I still don't understand why they won't let me eat. I have a mouth, just like theirs!

After dinner, Grandpa spent most of the remaining evening holding me. Occasionally, Uncle Chris got his hands/arms onto me. As you can see from the video below, Uncle Chris didn't seem to know that I like people holding me, AND walking at the same time!

Our evening ended with another long drive home. But it was certainly a fun evening since I get to visit Grandma and Grandpa!

Chinese Kung Fu!

Yesterday, Aunt Annie and Uncle Joseph invited us out to dinner. Aunt Annie's parents were also there, along with my Grandma and Grandpa. The location is a Japanese restaurant. THEY were having all kinds of sushi, rolls, and sashimi! Once again, I was just THERE, sitting in my stroller. I don't even get to taste a sip of the green tea! If these dinner events continued to be so unfair and boring, I think I will stop attending these events very soon! The picture above was taken shortly after dinner last night. Aunt Annie was holding me. Oh, by the way, I hope you like my shoes! Aren't they cute?

So after we got home last night, and right before diaper changing, Daddy was having a chat with me. He asked me if I'm interested in martial arts. Well, what do you think, Dad? I'm born in America, but my blood is very much Chinese! Therefore, how can a Chinese not have any interest in martial arts? Duh!

All of a sudden, Daddy started teaching me some basic moves in martial arts. Mom happened to video taped part of it, and here it is:

Last but not least, here are some pictures that Mommy took a few days ago, in my Pooh outfit. I know, you don't have to tell me! Yup, I'm totally cute! Totally one of a kind! Totally awsome!

This Little Piggy Shortage?

For a moment, I thought my (previous) web-site was mentioned in Newsweek!

But after reading this Newsweek article, I'm more concerned about that so-called 'Pigjackers!' I guess Daddy wasn't BS-ing me when he told me that if I don't stop crying, he's going to give me away!

And yes, I do read Newsweek, okay!
