My First Father's Day with Daddy!

Today is Father's Day! My first Father's Day with Daddy! I wondered if I was going to get some gifts from him. But Mommy later told me that she and I are supposed to get Daddy a gift for Father's Day, and not the other way around. So Mommy and I were well prepared. We had our Father's Day card ready, a bag full of gifts, and a brunch reservation at the Four Seasons Hotel.

We arrived at the hotel at almost 12:30... and it was HOT out there! I immediately turned cranky with this hot weather, and fortunately, we were seated at the corner of the restaurant so that I can scream and cry all I wanted. It took a long while before I was calmed down (not allowed to try any of the food didn't help either!) and slowly fell asleep. I can tell you now that Mommy and Daddy could not wait for me to fall asleep so that they can have a nice meal in peace. Below are some pictures that Mommy took of Daddy and Me, and also all the good food that I missed!

After the Father's Day, we headed to my Grandparents' place to wish Grandpa a Happy Father's Day. Again, the it was such a hot day that I would really rather be at home to stay cool. When we got to my Grandparents' house, Daddy took out all my clothes so that I would stop crying. As you can tell from the pictures, it worked rather well! We had dinner at my Grandparents' home, and we left there in the early evening because Daddy had to wake up really early on the following day to go to work. Still, it was a wonderful Father's Day with Mommy and Daddy!

Later that evening, while Daddy was sleeping, I spent some time playing with Mommy, and she took this video of me.

A Day at Americana

Today, Mommy had a dental appointment at a city called Glendale. Since Daddy was going to drive Mommy to the dentist anyway, they were nice enough to bring me along. While Mommy was at the dentist, Daddy took me to this coffee place called Star-bugs. Let me tell you... that Star-bugs place was boring and it smells funny. I was so bored I felt asleep almost immediately. I don't really know how much time did I spent there. I woke up and Daddy played with me for a bit and Mommy showed up.

Once Mommy got there, Mommy prepared my rice cereal luncheon at Star-bugs, and I had my lunch there. Immediately after lunch, I pooped my diaper so Mommy and Daddy took me to this department store called North-Storm to offload my dirty diapers. North-Storm should thank Aunt Gloria for teaching Mommy and Daddy to use its Diaper-offload-facility. Anyway, right after North-Storm, it was time for Mommy and Daddy to grab some lunch. And right after lunch, Mommy and Daddy took me to this place called Americana, where there are shops everywhere and fancy expensive apartments above the shops. We took some really nice pictures from there!

Why Can't I Have the Real Popsicles?

Mommy bought me this supposed-to-be-award-winning-fake-popsicle thing, where you supposed to put some fruits inside the netting so that I can suck on the juices. Well, it works okay, and I like it okay too. After all, it tastes sweet and that's all it matters, right? But I just wish that Mommy could put some ice-cream inside the netting, instead of fruits.

My Teeth are Bothering Me!!

My teeth are bothering me! They are making me very cranky! They make me scream out loud for no good reasons. I just want to put my teeth onto anything that can fit inside my mouth! Can someone help me? How many more teeth do I have coming out?

Cranky!

Yes, I'm not in a good mood! My gums are constantly itching for bites, my email inbox is full of inquiries asking why I haven't updated my blog for so long, and more importantly, Mommy and Daddy are not sharing their ice-cream with me! Grandma bought me my own ice-cream, but I don't know where they are hiding it!

My First Meeting with Mr. and Mrs. Jayson Ng

The person who is holding me in this picture is Uncle Jayson, and his wife, Aunt Shirley, standing next to him. The other guy standing next to Uncle Jayson is my Daddy! Today is the first time that I met Uncle Jayson. He just got married back in March, and this is also Daddy's first time meeting Uncle Jayson's wife.

Uncle Jayson is currently looking for a job! He holds a Master Degree in Engineering from the University of Spoiled Children (USC), and he had spent the past 10 years working at soon-to-be my favorite company, Mattel. (I just learned that Mattel owns Fisher-Price too!)

Anyway, if you have an open position that fits Uncle Jayson, please contact me for his contact information. (Yes, I know you would rather hire me... but I don't really need a job right now, you know?)

Something is Growing in My Gums!

I don't know about you, but I was totally freaked out when I looked in the mirror and saw something white on my gum. Whatever is coming out of my gum, it is making my gum line feeling very itchy! I feel like I always want to bite something, or rub my gums against something. It is making me very cranky!

There are more pictures that follow, showing me playing in my play area.

Enjoy!

My New Playground!

I'm beginning to claim more and more real estate territory at home! In the past 6 months, I have conquered Mommy and Daddy's bedroom, followed by the third bed and bathroom. The wardrobe is full of clothes! And my stuff are lying everywhere. The latest territory that I've claimed is the upper level living room. There used to be a large coffee table there, but not anymore. Mommy and Daddy bought me this cushiony play mats and it's covered almost the entire living room floor. Here's a video showing me playing with Daddy, and how he tries to teach me a few dance moves.

My First Haircut

I have been trying to tell Mommy and Daddy that my hair is getting longer in the past few weeks, but no one listened to me. Thankfully, Mommy and Daddy decided to give me my first haircut in my life!

At first I was a bit scared and confused because of that sharp and edgy instrument that Mommy was holding in her hand. But as soon as I found out that I couldn't feel any pain when my hair get cut off, I was a lot calmer. It turned out that having my hair cut is kind of boring. I didn't know I was supposed to sit still. I don't know if you knew, but I just don't like sitting, not to mention sitting still.

The approach that Mommy and Daddy took was to sit me inside my own bathtub, with Daddy holding me down, while Mommy do the cutting. This way, all my cut hair will be collected inside the bathtub, and Daddy can just rinse it away. Let me tell you, sitting in my bathtub with hair, is a lot less fun than sitting in the tub with water. So I recommend you not to try it if you don't have to.

Here are some pictures taken before my first haircut.

And here are some pictures taken after my first haircut.

A Nap and A Chat

Here are 2 more videos from yesterday.

This first video shows Daddy holding me in his arms, trying to get me to take my afternoon nap. Once I was close to passing out, he put me down on my tilted-down high chair. I like sleeping in my high-chair because I get sit up-right and it helps me to create happy dreams during sleep.

The second video here shows a lengthy chat between Mommy and I right before bedtime. Pay attention to the shirt that I was wearing. It's a little mis-leading because I was told that my middle initial is a 'B', as opposed to something else that starts with a 'T'.

Hairclip, Stallion, and ABCs

This set of pictures below can be divided into 3 parts.

Part 1: That hairclip! When Mommy put that onto me, I thought she was putting a bluetooth headset on me. Just like the one that Daddy has. I guess not. She kept saying that my hair is a bit long, and it is bugging my eyes. Instead of cutting my hair short, she decided to put on this hairclip on me.

Part 2: My Stallion! If you saw my video a few days ago, you should know how well I ride this little horse. Nothing has changed. I'm still having just as much fun.

Part 3: ABCs! Mommy and Daddy bought me this cushioning mat for the floor so that I can spend more time jumping and sitting on the floor. I just happened to be lying underneath my own initials, and here are some pictures to share.

Grandma Stayed With Us for 2 Days!

Grandma has been staying with us since yesterday because she needs to attend a seminar, which is located very close to our home. Therefore, she decided to stay at our place for 2 nights, so that she can some quality time with his now formally precious one's son... the precious me!

As expected, Grandma came home as soon as the seminar is over, and spent all her time playing with me. The video below shows that I was playing with Grandma's hand, and later her watch caught my attention. At first Grandma took off her watch and let me played with it. But when I tried to bit the watch to find out if it's really 24k Gold, she took it away from me. And you can see what follows...

(Don't know why, but it appears the first 5 seconds of the video clip is freezed. As soon as it passes the 5 seconds mark, it will resume.)

Here's a video of Grandma singing to me. It was an okay song. I wasn't to thrilled with the lyrics.

Finally, after a wonderful meal (according to Grandma) prepared by Mommy, we sat around the table for some more quality time with Grandma and Mommy. More importantly, I finally experienced what quality ice-cream really taste like!

Last but not least, here are some pictures taken today.

My 6-Month Check-up!

My 6-Month Check-up was supposed to be yesterday, but when Daddy (who took a day-off from work) took me to the Doctor's Office, we learned that my Doctor didn't show up to work! So we had to re-schedule the appointment to today.

So today, we went to the doctor as soon as Daddy got off work. We didn't have to wait long before we were called into the office. Just like the last few times when I was here, Daddy was told to take off my clothes to weight-in once we arrived at the exam room. It looks like all the exercise that I have done has finally paid off! My weight actually dropped by 0.2 pounds from a month ago.

My 6-Month Check-up -- Weight-in from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

So shortly after my weight-in, my Doctor came in and started checking every part of my body. It turned out that both my height and weight are now slightly below average. However, the size of my head, according to the Doctor, is a bit above average. I wanted to, but didn't, tell the Doctor that the space inside my skull is no air! But since I overheard from Mommy and Daddy that I will having a few injection shots, I decided to be wise and stayed quiet. Overall, the Doctor said I'm in good health. But before he let us go, there were a few injections that I need to take. Crap!

My 6-month Check-up -- Injections from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

As you can tell from the video above, we left the Doctor's office shortly after the shots. My next visit is scheduled when I turn 9 months old. See ya!

My First Stallion

No, it's not really a Ferrari. But close!

Grandma bought me this horse ride toy a few weeks back when I was a bit young to play it. I test rode it at Grandma's place back then, and I didn't like it that much. It must be the overwhelming horsepower that came it. A few weeks later, I was at Grandma's house, and gave this ride another try. I learned to like it a lot more, and therefore, Daddy brought it back home for me.

Check out the demonstration below.

My Grandma Bought Me This Shirt!

How do you like it? Daddy called it a Polo Shirt. I like to call it a shirt with buttons and a collar that makes it a bit difficult to put on... especially if Daddy is the one who tries to put it on me.

Anyway, I really like this shirt! Thanks, Grandma!

My 102nd Post!

Hmmm... I just noticed that this is my 102nd post on this blog. Looking at my web-site and counting backwards, my 100th post was actually my 6 months old birthday post! But as I'm getting bigger and smarter, it means I'm only getting busier with less time to post. Therefore, I doubt that I will hit 200 post prior to my 1 year old birthday. We shall see!

It has been a while since I last posted a video. So I thought it is about time for me to give you a video update on my physical ability. As you can see from this video below, I have recently mastered the skills of standing up with minimal help. All I need from Mommy or Daddy are just 1 finger from each hand. Speaking of hand, Daddy has been trying to tell me that my hands have its own name. I don't particularly like the name he picked, but he insisted. I mean, who would name something 'Left' and 'Right?' Besides, I still don't know which is which that he has been referring to.

Happy Mother's Day!

It's Mother's Day! My Mommy's first Mother's Day! It's also my Grandmas' first Mother's Day with me! And of course, this is also my first Mother's Day with Mommy and everybody!

Our celebration started on Saturday when we went to Riverside to meet Grandma and Grandpa. We brought flowers and cakes to Grandma and had dinner with her at her place. I would show you some pictures had Daddy remembered to copy the pictures from Grandpa's camera. We forgot to bring our camera! Well, as soon as I get hold of the pictures, I'll post them on this site.

Then on Sunday, we went out to have Dim Sum with my other Grandma and Grandpa. As usual, I didn't get to eat anything. However, I'm beginning to be given the opportunity to get a taste of the kind of food that they are eating. To me, that's a big step forward!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! xoxoxoxo

I'm (10 x 0.05) Years Old Today!

Yes, my sad face was caused by the fact that Daddy told me I won't be getting a birthday cake until my (10 x 0.1) years old birthday! I don't understand what he's talking about! A birthday is a birthday! I'm too young for solving math equation anyway! It wasn't even like Daddy was good at math when he was at my age, or ever! So, why wasn't I allowed to have a birthday cake?

Fortunately, I still have Mommy who understands me!

Below are some more pictures taken the day after my 6 months birthday.

First Meeting with Aunt Gloria and Uncle Leon

Those flu-like symptoms are almost completely gone. It only means that it's time to party! Today, we went to Downtown Disney to meet with Daddy's long-time friend, Aunt Gloria. According to Daddy, Aunt Gloria knew Daddy back when they were merely a few years old. Well, since they both claimed that they are only in their late twenties, I guess they only knew each other for just 20 years or so... if not more.

Aunt Gloria, Uncle Leon, and their kids, Dylan and Lucas, are currently living in San Francisco. Both Dylan and Lucas are a bit older than I am. Therefore, I didn't get much chance to play with them. Besides, they all know how to talk, and I (pretended that I) don't. So there weren't much interaction between us during this my meeting with them. Hopefully, Daddy will take me to San Francisco for a visit someday, and maybe I will get another chance to really play with Dylan and Lucas.

Until next time, it was nice to meet you all!

Something is Still Stucked in My Nose!

First of all, I want to thank those who expressed their concerns of my well being in the past few days. Those are only some flu-like symptoms. No big deal! Although the stuffy nose is rather bothering at times. As long as I'm still allowed to scream and cry, I'm okay. Besides, I still haven't lost my appetite as you can see from the video below.

Just A Bit Under the Weather

Yes, I think this past week I was partying too much! I've been sneezing and coughing. I couldn't breath because of nasal congestion, yet there were watery stuff flowing out of my nose. With the breathing difficulty, it just made eating and sleeping more difficult. Of course I wasn't too happy about it. Well, neither were Mommy and Daddy. So on Friday, Daddy left work early to take me to the doctor. Even though I've told them many times that I don't need to see the doctor, they insisted. Daddy even said he'll ask the doctor for some prescription strength Night-Quil for me. I think Night-Quil is some kind of medication for kids, right?

So we got to the doctor, and the first thing they did was to weight me. I came in at 18.6 pounds. Yes, I've gained weight again! But Mommy said I was above 19 pounds before I got sick. After the scale, we went to the examination room to wait for the Doctor. A few minutes later, the Doctor showed up. He pretty much checked me from head to toe. He checked my ears, looking for signs of ear infenction. He even stick this wooden stick into my mouth, and press it agianst my tongue to look for something. Well, whatever he was looking for, it wasn't there! The Doctor said I'm all good... looking! He told Mommy and Daddy that I don't need to take any medication, and they are to be on a lookout for potential fever over the weekend. Yup, that was it! I've told them I don't need to see the Doctor! When are they going to listen to me?

Yogurt Tastes Good!

Yes, I like yogurt. Especially the kind that Mommy eats. I'm okay with the kind that are made for kids. I'll take it! But if given the choice, I prefer Mommy's because it has strawberry or peach flavor.

Last night, we went out to dinner with Mommy's friend Uncle James and his family. They came from Arizona. If you were one of those who read that Golden Little Piggy blog about this baby who lives inside his Mommy's tummy, you should recall that Uncle James left quite a few comments there. It was my first time meeting Uncle James. He has 2 boys but they are much older than I am. He also bought me some gifts. Check them out from the pictures below.

A Busy Sunday!

I had a very busy Sunday!

Mommy and Daddy first took me to Uncle Chris' apartment to see if Uncle Chris has anything good that he forgot to bring with him back to Hong Kong. It turned out that there was this huge big screen TV sitting in the living room waiting for Daddy to take it away. Oh, did I mention that there's also a chair that moves?

Since it was my first time visit, I thought it was only appropriate to leave something behind at Uncle Chris' place as a token of appreciation. But since no one told me that we are visiting Uncle Chris' place ahead of time, I didn't prepare any gift. Instead I decided to poop and left behind a poopy diaper. Yes, Daddy forgot to take it out of the house when we left, so it's still sitting there! Since no one lives there right now... did I mention that all the windows were shut closed when we got there?

Anyway, before we left, I took a few pictures with Grandma at the parking lot. You can see that it was a very nice and sunny day, and I looked as good as Grandma!

So after our visit to Uncle Chris' place, we headed straight to a dinner event. Grand Aunt Jean and Grand Uncle Barton are celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary at a Restaurant in Monterey Park for dinner. It means that there will be plenty of food that I could only look at but not taste.

When we arrived, there were already a quite a few people there, and as soon as I walked into the room, all eyes were turned to me! Well, I can't help it! Everyone wanted to hold me and touch me. They all tried to talk to me. And at my age, the good thing is, I don't really have to respond to them. To tell you the truth, I was actually thinking if I should cry out loud, or just stay quiet. But as I was still thinking, I was already being taken over, and being carried around, by quite a few people already.

As you can see from the pictures below, I actually fell asleep when the dinner was served. They all thought that I was tired. Instead, I just didn't want to look at them eating, while I couldn't taste any of the food. Therefore, I pretended to be sleeping.

I woke up as they were finishing the courses. Again, I was being passed around... but as soon as the girls noticed that I'm awake, they just swamped around me.

Fortunately, I'm kind of used to it already. I used to get swamped around by a bunch of old ladies whenever Mommy takes me to the Supermarket. (Actually, it is still happening unless Mommy cover up the stroller with a blanket.) So this is way better! But you know, sometimes younger girls are more immature.

Here are the rest of the pictures taken from the dinner party. You can see that it was a very busy night for me!

Here is a video showing Grandpa holding me in his arms shortly after I woke up.

It's a Rat! Not a Mouse!

I don't know if any of you knew that my Daddy works for a Rat! Yes, a rat! But his company likes to call it a Mouse. To me, a mouse is something that connects to a computer or laptop.

Daddy's company even gives this Rat a name called Mickey. So, Mickey Rat. They even put clothes on this rat, made this rat to wear a pair of white gloves, and taught this stupid rat to walk with 2 of his 4 legs only.

I'm a Scouser... I Guess!?

Well, according to Daddy, Liverpool Football Club has once again made it to the Champions League Semi-Final for the 3rd time in 4 years. And for the 3rd time in 4 years, Liverpool is playing Chelsea. The first leg, which will take place at Anfield, kicks off on Tuesday, April 22. So please... show your support for Daddy's team. I did, and so can you!

Having Dim Sum With Grandparents

It's Saturday! Mommy and Daddy took me to meet Grandma and Grandpa at a Dim Sum restaurant. This is my first time visiting a Dim Sum restaurant, and let me tell you... I wasn't that impressed. That place was noisy! As soon as I arrived there, the ambience immediately put me in a bad mood. That's why whenever Grandma and Grandpa tried to hold me, I screamed! I was pretty sure that it had nothing to do with them. I just knew that I was in an unfamiliar territory... kind of like Liverpool playing at Old Trafford type of feeling. Who would feel comfortable at that, right?

Dim Sum with Grandpa from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

Finally, Uncle Joseph, who was also there, took me for a cruise around the restaurant to calm me down. At first, he told me that he's going to walk around the restaurant and show me some good looking 'chicks.' (Yes, I soon found out that he wasn't referring to McDonald's Chicken McNuggets type of 'chicks.') But along the way, all I heard from him was 'yuck', 'butt ugly', 'what? that's a female?', 'forget that one', and even 'don't look over there!.' Half way through our restaurant tour, he decided to change the theme of his tour a bit... to 'Girls that I shouldn't go out with when I grow up.' As you can see from the tour below, I wasn't too thrill when the tour ended so quickly. Fortunately, Grandma was there to take over.

Cruising with Uncle Joseph from Addison Chan on Vimeo.

It was a really hot day! By the time we were done with Dim Sum, and walked back to our car, the temperature read 98 degrees Fahrenheit. Yeah, I'm used to Celcius too! But that's what Daddy's BMW is showing, and certainly my butt was feeling it too!

By the time we got home, I was soaking wet! No, Daddy's Bimmer was just cool enough (both inside, outside, and Daddy himself!), it was that stupid car seat that made me all hot and sweaty! Think about it... while every occupant is facing forward and enjoying the breeze from the AC, I had to face backward with the seat back blocking off all the cool air. So how could I chill under such hostile circumstances? That's why as soon as Mommy got me into the house, she took off all my clothes. I immediately turn back to a happy camper, as you can see from the pictures below.

Yes, I Thought Daddy Stabbed Me!

Hey, how was I supposed to know? Daddy is an adult, and I'm not. How would I know if his movement was so fast that I didn't even see his arm moved. I mean, I could have been stabbed by Daddy with a knife or something. After all, he's been telling everyone that I'm naughty and I'm not sleeping through the night bla bla bla. That's why when he raised his voice at me, I had to prepared for the worse. And when the worse case scenario happens, what do you do? You cry! And that is exactly what I did. So, you cannot blame me for crying. I was just learning how to react in front of my Grandparents, should this happen again when they are around. So chill!

Oh, for those who plan to watch this video from work, may I recommend you to turn down the volume a bit. (And no, Daddy's voice wasn't thaaaat loud.)

I Took 2 Baths In 1 Day... Guess Why!?

Yes, and the picture here is taken from the second bath. Why? Because my poop had so much force and volume that it went beyond the ability of my diaper. Yes, it was everywhere! And yes, it was just right after my bath. Hey, I already did Mommy and Daddy a favor by not pooping in the bathtub. So what do you expect!?

But before I show you my latest bathing video, I would like to bring back some memories. Long time readers of my blog will definately remember my first bath video...

I was merely 20 days old when this 'First Bath' video was shot.

When I posted this video below, I was 2 months old then. Yes, I looked older, but most critics agreed that I still retained every bit of my good looks at my age.

I'm 5 Months Old!

Yesterday, I celebrated my 5 months old birthday by not sleeping at night. I was so excited that I just couldn't fall asleep. Could you believe that I'm already 5 months old? My cute face looks so young that when I go out, people thought that I'm only 4 months old!

Back to my celebration. I felt honored to have Mommy to be by my side all night long, throughout the celebration. She looked tired, but I'm sure that she wanted to stay up with me as well. Daddy was a little bit disappointing. He slept through the night without even waking up in the middle to check on us.

Anyway, my all-night celebration ended right around sunrise. By then I was exhausted, and fell asleep... finally.

Here are some pictures that Mommy took during the day.

Here is a video showing Mommy giving me some water through a straw. I don't know if you've heard... I don't like using Baby Bottle. Baby Bottles are for kids only. I don't know why Mommy and Daddy thinks that Baby Bottles suit me.

If you've been following this blog, you should know that I have just recently started eating that so-called 'solid food.'  Seriously, if that's call solid-food, I wonder what does that piece of dark chocolate called!  Anyway, I don't know why, but usually when I eat, I fall asleep.  And this time, someone took the opportunity to snap a few photos of me, sleeping... peacefully... right after a meal.

My First Meeting with Grand-Aunt Winnie

Grand-Aunt Winnie, aka Juanita's Mom, has arrived from Hong Kong last week. Although she claims that she is here on vacation, and to visit Aunt Juanita, I honestly believe that those were just excuses. I think the reason why she is here is to meet me for the first time. After all, how could a smart person like Grand-Aunt Winnie, resist from seeing me, when the only mean of seeing my cute face was by reading this blog? After all, I truly believe that holding me for the first time is totally worth the 15 hours or so flight time!

So it's been a few days since her arrival, and Aunt Juanita has finally decided to bring her Mom for a visit. Grand-Aunt Winnie was very impressed with my weight, as well as how loud I cried. I impressed her so much that she even gave me a red-envelope (利是), just to honor this special moment! I, of course, have the whole thing on video...

Fifteen, Twenty?

If you know what Daddy is doing, good for you! Because I don't have a clue what he is trying to do. It looked to me that he's either trying to punch me, or slap me. I laughed because I didn't think he knew that I had a camera on him. And if he did punch, or slap, me, I'll just send the video to his Mom... aka, my Grandma!

So, back to what Daddy was doing in this video. Mommy later told me that it's an old and popular game that is more commonly played in drinking places. But Mommy also told me that Daddy can't drink. So I don't understand how, when, or where did he learn this so-called game. As you can see towards the end of this video, I was forced to drink too! I think that was hardly fair! Can someone show me how to play this game, please? Otherwise, I will get drunk pretty soon!

You Don't Believe Me? He's the Evidence!

Some of my fans in Russia and Croatia didn't believe me, when I blogged about my first baby food meal. Well, you know what, cмотреть видео сами! (That's Russian in 'Watch this video yourself!')

More Food, More Energy, More Tricks!

It's that simple! If you give me more food, I will you more entertainment! Today, I had my first solid food. Although technically, it wasn't really solid like Daddy's chocolate bar, but it's still better than just milk! I guess that's all I have to settle for, for now, until I get some teeth coming out of my gums!

So what did I eat today? I wish I could tell you that it was a slice of Godiva Cheesecake. Because I know I don't need teeth for that. But it wasn't. What I had was a full serving of Gerber Carrots. It may not look that appetizing to you, but it did for me. I finished that whole thing in no time. Although portion of it was spread all over my face, hands, and clothes, Mommy and Daddy are still very proud of me! By the way, did I mention that I was still hungry after this little container was emptied? Yeah, I did get some milk afterwards. Hey, I need something to drink, along with my meal, okay!?

Later in the evening, when Daddy came home, I just couldn't wait to tell Daddy what I ate today. However, I was just too busy doing sit-ups with Mommy. They also learned that not only I have learned how to do sit-ups, I also managed a follow-up routine called 'stand-up' too! Check out the video here if you don't believe me!

My First Easter!

Happy Easter!

It was a fun weekend because I got gifts! I didn't know that Easter is also a season for giving (to me.) That's why I was pleasantly surprised when Daddy took me to shopping for my private chair. Yup, I got my chair now! I don't have to share chairs with anyone, anymore. More importantly, I get to sit closer to the dining table during meals. As opposed to sitting in that bouncing chair (that hardly bounces itself), sitting high up and closer to the dining table is one small step for Mommy and Daddy, one big step for Addison.

Well, this is what I got from Mommy and Daddy for Easter.

Now, this is the same chair with me sitting on it. Don't you think I made the chair look more expensive?

But my gift just didn't stop there! Aunt Juanita and Aunt Peggy both brought me gifts too! Specifically, it was an Easter Basket! Dad believes that I'm the first person in the history of our family who receives a specific Easter Basket gift for Easter! Well, I'm also the first person in the history of our family who looks like a million bucks! So here's your answer, Dad!

Back to my basket... Wow! It has so many stuff in it! Food, toys, clothes, etc. I can't be more happier! I like it a lot! Thanks to Aunt Juanita and Aunt Peggy! Here's a picture of what the basket looks like.

Finally, how could we spent Easter at home without taking some pictures! Here they are...

Having Some Fun and Doing Some Sit-ups

More video from yesterday. Yeah, I was really tired last night from all these activities. I was so tired last night that I only woke up 5 times.

Look Who's Talking!

Today, I spent the evening playing with Mommy and Daddy. They seemed to like it a lot whenever I talk. But they didn't seem to understand what I was actually talking about. How difficult could it be, to really understand what I was realy trying to say. Somehow, they just don't get it!

My 4-Month Check-up!

I had my 4-month check-up today!

It was really not big deal because I just had my 2-month check-up, well, 2 months ago! I was expecting the same old thing of weighting me, and listening to what the doctor has to say about my good look.

But wait! I think there's one thing that I have forgotten! The last time when I was there, I had to take 4 injections! But wait... was it painful at all? I don't seem to remember.

Well, instead of having me to tell you, why don't you just watch the video yourself.

Just for the record... I measured 25-inches in height, and weight in at 16.8 pounds. Dr. Kim said my weight is in the top 25 percentile for good looking boys at my age. The same goes for the size of my head. But Daddy said it only means that I am (going to be) a brain-iac. As for my height, I'm right at average for my age group.

By the way, were you able to tell that the nurse was totally impressed by my bravery?

Here are some pictures taken while we were waiting for the doctor.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Arcadia

Mommy and Daddy took me to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Arcadia today. I haven't met Grandma and Grandpa since I left for Orlando, so it has been a while since I saw them. Just as I predicted, they both told me that I have grown a lot, and that I'm getting more and more good looking!

In addition to meeting Grandpa and Grandma, I also got to see Aunt Annie and Uncle Joseph too! Later in the evening, Uncle Steven also showed up. I haven't met them for a while already. They all spent some time to play with me, which was fun! I also had a chance to check out this new device/ride that was left sitting in Grandma's living room. I think I'm still too small for it. So maybe when I grow bigger, I will bring it home with me if Daddy lets me.

Below are some pictures and a video. Check it out.

Playing with Daddy / Complaining About Tummy Time

I just want to share with you 2 new videos of me. The first one is a documentary. Yes, the kind that you will see on Discovery Channel or something. Basically it's a documentary of me, Addison Chan, describing how much I hate Tummy time. This is totally new stuff! We are talking about footage that has never been released before. Check it out...

After some complaining, on the same day, Daddy tried to make it up to me by, literally, throwing stuff at me! I normally wouldn't like it. But the fact that I don't have to do Tummy Time anymore was just too much joy to handle! Go see it for yourself if you don't believe me.

Bon Voyage, Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris!

I can't believe that I'm back at this place called the Airport again so soon! I was just here about 2 weeks ago! Although I'm at the International Terminal this time where most people's suitcases are bigger. Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris are leaving for Hong Kong today. I mentioned it once in my previous post that Hong Kong needs Uncle Chris save its economy, and therefore, Hong Kong is inviting Uncle Chris to go back there for a while. That is according to what Daddy told me.

We woke up rather early today to get ready for the airport visit. We arrived there at 10:30am, while Uncle Chris' flight does not leave until 12:30pm. When we arrived at the airport, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Phoebe, Uncle Chris were all there already, waiting for me! Yeah, even thought I was not the one who's leaving, I still get to be the center of attention, as always!

As soon as I saw Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris, I really wanted to jump out of my stroller to give them a hug and ask them not to leave again. But then, I realize that I couldn't jump yet, so I just remained quiet laying inside my stroller. Luckily, it didn't take long before Uncle Chris picked me up from the stroller.

Below are some pictures taken at the airport. Yeah, most of them are taken when Uncle Chris was holding me. And that is exactly what happened throughout the late morning before Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris waved goodbye to us.

And here's a video of my crying... yeah, I was crying because I didn't want Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris to leave. But somehow, no one understood why was I crying. And when they started guessing, and guessed wrong, that's when I really got irritated.

Aunt Phoebe and Uncle Chris, please take good care of yourselves! I am so looking forward to seeing you two again!

Uncle Chris is Leaving?

Where is he going? Why is he leaving? Daddy's answer was that he's heading back to Hong Kong because he is needed in Hong Kong to stabilize the economy. Well, maybe he should stabilize US economy first!

I really don't want Uncle Chris to leave! I was totally expecting him to play football with me as soon as I can run and talk at the same time. What am I going to do now? Yeah, I know I can still play with my Daddy. But based on what I have heard, Daddy's footballing skill is incomparable to Uncle Chris'. (For those who wonder what I meant by 'incomparable'... Uncle Chris is better!) Therefore, I really don't want you to leave! After all, you are the Winner of the "Guess MY Due-Date Contest." Yeah, you were the one who knew that I will be late arriving into this world, when everyone thought that I was going to be early. Therefore, I felt like you are the only person who knows how I feel and what I think! (Below is picture of Mommy and Daddy presenting the Grand Prize to Uncle Chris for winning the contest.)

Just when I thought that I still get to spend a few more weekends with Uncle Chris, Daddy told me that Uncle Chris is actually leaving tomorrow! What? He's telling me this now? Did I not read Daddy's email or something? How come nobody told me about this sooner? I guess that is why we are heading to Grandma's place today, on a weekday!

As you can imagine, I spent quite some time with Uncle Chris during this visit to Riverside because I know I will miss him tremendously once he's left. As you can tell from the pictures below, I couldn't get myself together towards the end of the day and finally broke down and cry. It's okay. It's okay. I shall be fine, because I'm tough!

I have some more pictures and video below that highlights my weekend with Uncle Chris and Aunt Phoebe. But before we go there, Daddy shared with me this picture that he took when Aunt Phoebe was talking (more like negotiating) to Grandma. My Chinese is still a bit rusty, and therefore, I really don't know what is written there. Will someone be so kind to leave me a comment after this post to translate what is written there? (Oh, and if you cannot read it clearly, click on the picture itself for an enlarged view.)

Here comes the rest of the pictures:

A Full Day of Photo-shoot

Daddy got this nice Canon camera from Uncle Jae, and both Mom and Dad have been having quite some fun with it.  But of course, just because it's a nice camera, it doesn't mean that the object/person in the picture will automatically becomes good looking.  When you have the looks (like mine), no matter what camera you would use, the pictures will still come out stunning!  In the set of photos below, let's just say... the camera didn't have to work that hard to make me looks so... good!

The Clock is Working Just Fine! Stop Adjusting it!

I don't understand... why change the time? Maybe I don't want to understand. It's really late at night, and we just came back from Riverside. And now, Daddy told me that we have just lost 1 more hour! I thought they were just kidding earlier when they said they want to mess with the clock.

Anyway, here are some pictures that Daddy took today. I have to go to sleep now. Thanks for stopping by!

I'm 3.3333E-01 Years Old Today!

Or 1/3 Years Old!

Or 0.3333333333 Years Old!

Or 4 Months Old!

They are all the same! The bottom line is... I'm getting old! My poops are beginning to smell; my throat is beginning to make strange sounds; and my appetite is getting bigger and bigger!

You know what, I don't want to talk about it!

Let's see some pictures that Mommy and Daddy took today.
