A Sunday Brunch with Grandma

I've been to quite a few Sunday Brunch at some nice locations like the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton, just to mention a few.  So when Mommy told me that we are going to have brunch with Grandma early today, I thought we are on our way to another fine hospitality establishment.

"A what club?"

That's what I thought when I first heard that instead of going to another fancy hotel for brunch, we are going to a golf club.

"And you have never had brunch there before?"

So, not that I know what golf really is all about, but based on what I've learned from Grandpa, I know enough that 'golf' is actually a sport that you play with a metal rod.  A rod that I much rather use it hit someone rather than hitting that tiny little ball.  So why would anyone go to a 'club' that specializes in golf, to have brunch, is beyond my understanding.   And to learn that none of them have had brunch at this 'club' before, tells me that I should eat something before I leave home, just in case the food there is not to my liking.

So after about a 30 minutes or so driving, we arrived at this place called The Clubhouse at Anaheim Hills Golf Course.  Mommy and Daddy parked the car headed straight into the Clubhouse.  Our reserved table was already waiting for us.  We sat down, and Daddy immediately went to check out the buffet line.  Soon after he came back, Mommy took off.  All these happening while we were waiting for Grandma.  And when Mommy came back, I knew I can always count on her to bring me something good!

Not long after that, Grandma showed up and we began our wonderful Sunday brunch.  Here is a tour of what this place looks like:

And once we have finished our brunch, we walked outside and took some more pictures.

As you can see from the last few pictures, I had the opportunity to have some quiet time with Grandma, holding her hand, for a quiet walk, without Mommy and Daddy constantly telling me what not to do.  And during that walk, Grandma told me something very interesting!

How many of you recognize this place?  Let me give you some help with this video.

No, this is not where NASA launched its space shuttle!  And if you still don't recognize this place, I'll give you 2 more pictures as hints.

Yup!  This is the exact same place where Mommy and Daddy got married.  Yes, that room is the exact same ballroom where Mommy and Daddy hosted a wedding with 250 Guests.  And that outdoor area is the same outdoor area where Mommy and Daddy exchanged vows.  If you were invited and attended their wedding, good for you!  Because I didn't get the invitation!
