A Sunday Brunch with Grandma

I've been to quite a few Sunday Brunch at some nice locations like the Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton, just to mention a few.  So when Mommy told me that we are going to have brunch with Grandma early today, I thought we are on our way to another fine hospitality establishment.

"A what club?"

That's what I thought when I first heard that instead of going to another fancy hotel for brunch, we are going to a golf club.

"And you have never had brunch there before?"

So, not that I know what golf really is all about, but based on what I've learned from Grandpa, I know enough that 'golf' is actually a sport that you play with a metal rod.  A rod that I much rather use it hit someone rather than hitting that tiny little ball.  So why would anyone go to a 'club' that specializes in golf, to have brunch, is beyond my understanding.   And to learn that none of them have had brunch at this 'club' before, tells me that I should eat something before I leave home, just in case the food there is not to my liking.

So after about a 30 minutes or so driving, we arrived at this place called The Clubhouse at Anaheim Hills Golf Course.  Mommy and Daddy parked the car headed straight into the Clubhouse.  Our reserved table was already waiting for us.  We sat down, and Daddy immediately went to check out the buffet line.  Soon after he came back, Mommy took off.  All these happening while we were waiting for Grandma.  And when Mommy came back, I knew I can always count on her to bring me something good!

Not long after that, Grandma showed up and we began our wonderful Sunday brunch.  Here is a tour of what this place looks like:

And once we have finished our brunch, we walked outside and took some more pictures.

As you can see from the last few pictures, I had the opportunity to have some quiet time with Grandma, holding her hand, for a quiet walk, without Mommy and Daddy constantly telling me what not to do.  And during that walk, Grandma told me something very interesting!

How many of you recognize this place?  Let me give you some help with this video.

No, this is not where NASA launched its space shuttle!  And if you still don't recognize this place, I'll give you 2 more pictures as hints.

Yup!  This is the exact same place where Mommy and Daddy got married.  Yes, that room is the exact same ballroom where Mommy and Daddy hosted a wedding with 250 Guests.  And that outdoor area is the same outdoor area where Mommy and Daddy exchanged vows.  If you were invited and attended their wedding, good for you!  Because I didn't get the invitation!

A Short Day Trip

Where did we go today?  Daddy and Mommy took me to a short day trip today!  We drove for about 20 minutes and arrived at this City called Rancho Palos Verdes.  What's so special about it?  There's a Starbucks there and Daddy ordered a cappuccino. What's so special about this City and the Starbucks?  Take a look at the view yourself.

And here are some pictures taken while we were there.

Since we didn't get there until late in the afternoon, it didn't take long before the ocean breeze brought down the temperature.  It was time to leave this beautiful place.

Up next, dinner time!  Per Mommy's suggestion, we decided to go try this Japanese restaurant that we have never been to before.  It's called Musha.  Here are some videos taken while we were waiting for our food.

Oh, and how's the food?  They were so good that you can almost taste them by just looking at these pictures!

It's good to have parents who enjoy good food!

Who is Managing My Image Rights in Australia?

As you know, I receive hundreds of emails, snail-mails, voice-mails, and pigeon-mails everyday, and without any Assistant, I just couldn't read all the mails in a timely manner, let alone responding to my fans.  But yesterday, I read an email from KangarooBabe1998@Hotmail.com and it was what she attached, not what she wrote, that caused me some concerns:

Dearest Addison,

I want you to know that you are always in my heart no matter how far apart we are.  I understand you have a very busy schedule, and that must be the only reason why you never wrote back to me, despite the 23 emails that I wrote to you since the beginning of this year.  But that's okay, my love for you will never change.  I've tried to forget you but when I look around the boys down here in Down Under, nothing can compare to you.  Your are truly THE ONLY fish in the pond; THE ONE tree in the forest!

Yesterday, when I went outside to pick-up the mails for my Dad, I almost thought that you had sent me an autographed post-card.  But when I looked closer, I should have known that I am never that lucky!  Instead, it seemed to me that someone has taken one of your standard-handsome-and-good-looking picture and tried to use it to catch some more girls' attention around here.  I really don't know what that person was thinking... not that I know what Real Estate means especially when it is written in Japanese, but every girls at school is already crazy about you.  You don't need anymore advertising here, for sure!

I've attached those flyers in this email for you to see... that you are still just as good looking as usual even when you(r pictures) have traveled around the world.  Don't worry, I've kept those flyers safely under my pillow.  I will not let my parents separate us!

                             Forever Yours,

                                     Kangaroo Babe (KGB)

Here are the flyers... (Click on images to enlarge)

So after I printed out these flyers and sat Mommy and Daddy down for an emergency family meeting, I was shocked to learn that they knew about this all along!  "What do you mean you forgot to tell me, Dad?"

Apparently, I guess, Daddy has been managing my Image Rights, and authorized Grand-Aunt May in Australia to use my picture for their Real Estate business flyers.  I immediately asked if Grand-Aunt May needs me to autograph a few flyers for their first 100 customers, but Daddy said I should wait till I can hold a writing instrument properly first.

Grand-Aunt May, since you saw those football practice pictures, you must read my blog!  The Offer still stands!  Just send me an email if you need my autograph, or any other help!

Another Head Injury

But first, let me present to you some pictures of my injured forehead.

Here is some additional information:

  • This incident happened yesterday
  • Immediately after the incident, I cried for about 5 minutes
  • It hurts a lot when Mommy put alcohol to disinfect the area
  • No doctor/hospital visit was necessary

Here comes the trivia:

I will disclose the true cause if/when I have received 10 votes or more.

In Case You Don't Know...

  1. I'm about to be a big brother very soon!
  2. There's a Blog out there documenting Mommy's entire pregnancy.  It's called The 4th A, and you can get to it from here.
  3. And just recently, assuming that I'm really going to have a little sister, we have decided on my sister's name.  You can find out more by clicking here.

The reason I did this post is because I have just recently found out that I have a few readers who are so loyal to my blog, that he/she didn't feel the need to read other Blogs that are affiliated to me, and/or my family.  Come on, boys and girls, if you really want to grow up to be just like me, you have got to put in some work.  One-Stop-Shop in today's world is just not going to cut it!

Peace out!

My Upcoming Album Cover?

譚詠麟 擁抱 Album Cover

Those of you who don't know who this guy is, his name is Alan Tam, 譚詠麟.  He used to be a pop singer in Hong Kong back in the days when my Daddy was a teenager.  I'm not sure (even Daddy isn't sure) if he's still singing, or releasing new albums/songs these days.  But the bottom line is... he was voted selected for the Best Male Singer of the Year in Hong Kong for numerous times.

Anyway... what do you think?

My Second Father's Day with Daddy

I asked Daddy what he wants for Father's Day.  I wonder if he would like me to take him out for a meal, just like last year.  He said 'No.'  How about a visit to Toy's R Us?  He gave me the look of death.  Well, I gave him 2 options, and if he didn't appreciate my thoughtfulness, there's nothing that I could do.  After all, it was Daddy who told me that when he tells me not to be naughty for whatever reason, he only wants to say it once.

But just when you think I gave up on him, I didn't.  Instead, I know something is happening on Father's Day!  There's a football game between Brasil and Italy playing in the group stage of the Confederation Cup on Father's Day.  I knew he wants to watch that game, live!  So what did I do?  I just quietly went to my room 5 minutes before the starts, and took my nap.  What else did I do?  I made sure that my nap outlast his game.  Since it's a group stage game, there won't be any Extra Time involved.  So all I needed to do is to take a 2 hours nap.  Piece of cake!

Speaking of cake, when Mommy asked Daddy what he wants for Father's Day, he said "a Cheesecake."  Bam!  Here's the cheesecake.

And since Daddy was taking picture of the cheesecake, here are a few photos of me taken on Father's Day.

Overall, it was a very peaceful Father's Day celebration... just the way Daddy wanted it!  Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

Another Bathing Update!

I can't believe that it has been more than a year since I posted some pictures/videos of me, naked, in the bath!  Since it has been so long ago since you all saw me taking a bath, a lot has changed.  Specifically, I no longer use the little kids bath tub to take my bath anymore!  Since I’m able to stand and walk on my own, Mommy and Daddy have upgraded me to the big boys bath tub.

Calm down, girls!  Here are some pictures.
