Remember this?  When I thought Daddy was afraid of the water?

He has proven me wrong today!  Daddy finally took me to swimming today.  I’ve been waiting for this swim since the beginning of summer and I can’t believe Daddy had made me wait this long. 

As you can see from the video, I was extremely excited to be in the water, and I showed no signs of H2O-phobia.  Daddy said it’s because of his gene, but I have no idea what he’s talking about. 

Anyway, here’s a video highlighting all my excitements from today’s swimming; follow by some pictures.  I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I enjoyed today’s swimming!

Hey, Alicia! Can You Do This?

What do DTS, Dolby, and SRS (to name a few) have in common?  They are all companies that specialize in enhancing sound effects, with an objective to capture the attention of the audience/listeners. 

As mentioned in my previous post, I have learned that making some sound and noise can help me to regain the focus and become the center of the attention again.  And you bet that I’ve been practicing it day and night.  To show off what I am capable of saying these days, I’m going to share with you a few videos that were taken today right after we had a wonderful Sushi and Sashimi dinner at home.

A Monday Brunch with Grandma

In case you haven’t noticed, Mommy has been restricted to the 3rd floor of the house ever since Alicia was born.  Daddy explained to me that Mommy has an ‘ouch-ouch’ on her tummy, and Doctor told her to stay away from the stairs for a while.  I’ve been trying to find out what caused Mommy’s ‘ouch-ouch’ on her tummy.  I asked Daddy if it was Alicia who gave Mommy the ‘ouch-ouch’, but Daddy said ‘no.’  All Daddy said was ‘Mommy didn’t have a choice with Alicia.’  So who gave Mommy the ‘ouch-ouch?’

Anyway, fast forward a few weeks!  Lately, Mommy has been making occasional appearance down stairs to join us for meals.  Today is another perfect example.  Here is a video of Grandma, Mommy, Daddy, and Myself all having lunch together.  Just in case you wonder, I was eating some 粉腸 腸粉. 

My Way of Regaining the Center of Attention Spot

Grandma and Grandpa were here today to have dinner with us.  Lately, in case you haven’t noticed from the pictures and videos, I’m losing a lot of attention from my Parents, as well as my Grandparents.  I’m sure you all know why and I’m not going to go into too much details talking about how ‘not getting the attention’ is affecting me.  Instead, I want to show you how I have figured a way to regain some of the attention… Sounds and Noises!

Anyway, that was shortly after dinner.  But right when we started our meal, Grandpa had once again proven to me that I can always count on him to give me full attention during this tough period of my life.

Happy 60th Birthday, 爺爺

Happy 60th Birthday, 爺爺.  Daddy kept telling me that his team will beat your Manchester United this season, but I didn’t want to tell him that I just don’t care, at least for now.

Wherever you are, I want to wish you a Happy 60th Birthday!  And don’t worry, I’ve been giving Daddy a headache at least once a day.  I just thought you would like to hear that.

Happy 1-Month Old, Sister!

Today is my sister’s 1-month old birthday.  You can read more about her (complaining about the lack of) celebration (when compare to my 1-month old birthday) here.

Meanwhile, I have another injury update to report to my fans.  As soon as I learned that Alicia was jealous on how I had so many people visiting me on my 1-month old birthday, I got so excited that I decided to jump up and down the mattress for celebration.  Those who have been following my blog should know that I am an expert in jumping-on-the-bed.  To refresh your memory, you can see some past video footage here and here.

As you can tell, I was a bit young back then, and therefore my jumping was limited to within my crib.  Now that I have grown up, I’ve just recently upgraded myself to jump Mommy and Daddy’s bed. 

So while I was jumping and celebrating, I lost track of my coordinates, and off I went flying off the bed.  Fortunately, I landed on 3 bags of un-opened chips, and I only suffered from a minor bruise under the corner of my left eye.  As you can see from these pictures, I’m okay!  But I cannot say the same for those 3 bags of chips.  For the record, I fell off of Mommy’s side of the bed, just in case you wonder why there are 3 bags of chips in the bedroom.

I Turned 21 Today!

I turned 21 (months old) today and the only drink that I was allowed to have is multiple Virgin Apple Martini, no rocks, in a plastic cup.  It did come with a straw for stirring, but I rather use it for suck-and-drink. 

Where are my presents, people?  Without presents, I had nothing to do, but to drink.  Now I know why some Adults are addicted to Apple Juice when they are sad. 

Now, let’s talk about this picture above.  (Could you stop starring at that picture!!?)  There are a few people around town who are authorized to take photography of me.  Yes, just like the President of the United States, I have dedicated photographers.  One of my authorized Photographer is Uncle Joseph, and during his last visit, he took this picture of me.  While he is an experienced photographer (come one, look at this piece of work of art above!), he wasn’t as experienced in dealing with high profile models.  In this case, I’m referring to nobody other than Myself.  What happened was, before I had a chance to post this picture on my blog, he took the liberty to post this picture on his account in this website called Facebutt or something.  Once this picture was posted, within minutes, the traffic to Uncle Joseph’s account was so huge that it brought down Facebutt, and subsequently Twitter.  (You can read all about it here.)  Unlike Facebutt or Twitter, my Blog is designed to handle the demand of a high profile public figure.  So for the good of others, please stop hitting other unauthorized sites for pictures and/or videos of me.  Why deny other Users’ access to other sites, when all you want is to see the latest pictures of me?  For official pictures, always stay with AddisonBChan.com!

Nice Seat!

Lately, before Daddy put me inside the bath tub for a shower, he likes to sit me on this special chair for a while.  I have no idea what the purpose of this sitting exercise is.  All I know is that I once pee’d while sitting on it, and they were all excited about it.  Since then, I tried not to pee’d while sitting there, just so that I can be a good boy.  Eventually, both Mommy and Daddy stopped video tapping my sitting exercise, yet this exercise is still being practiced once in the morning, right before I brush my teeth; and once at night, right before my shower.
